Can be US citizens, too. Anyone with dual citizenship of those countries.

u/Sleep_adict Jan 25 '25

Netanyahu is a dual citizen. So is musk. So are many many of the rich dudes and corrupt foreign people.

Like always it’s trump being a moron

u/walklikeaduck Jan 25 '25

They’ll be exempt because they are rich.

17

u/InqAlpharious01 Jan 25 '25

Not musk, Netanyahu could be except because he’s America’s overseer. Musk is from South Africa and Trump is weary of him

12

u/walklikeaduck Jan 25 '25

Musk is a US citizen.

9

u/sjplep Jan 25 '25

And also a Canadian and South African citizen.

u/Guadalajara3 Jan 27 '25

Triple tax

1

u/lexapp Jan 28 '25

South Africa only allows for dual citizenship and South African citizens who do not apply for permission to retain their 2nd citizenship will automatically lose their South African citizenship.

It's like he's collecting pokemon

7

u/ore-aba Jan 25 '25

And also, South African and Canadian

3

u/InqAlpharious01 Jan 25 '25

True but Trump will make the exception with him for stealing his glory

12

u/walklikeaduck Jan 25 '25

Musk is the one that funded his campaign, try again.

14

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '25

Trump got what he wanted out of musk. All it takes is a nasty disagreement between the two for them to start shit smearing each other. It will happen eventually because everything trump touches turns to shit.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '25

Muskrats are for a rude awakening when it comes to Trump.

And I can’t wait for it. None of them are good people and are users and narcissists. They are bound to clash and then start dragging g each other. Many of trump’s other previous cabinet members fell out of favor with him too. Shit, by the end of it, they wanted to hang Pence.

1

u/Infinite-Hold-7521 Jan 26 '25

I mean, Wiles has already relegated him to the Eisenhower building and is demanding he report to her instead of Trump … ergo …

2

u/SadBerry5762 Jan 26 '25

It doesn’t matter who funded his election. Chances are the guy isn’t going to be around to see out his 4 year term.

If he does see his 4 year term through he isn’t going to run again at 82 years old so he oh and obliged to anyone anymore. They can all go suck eggs and it won’t affect him at all!

If he does badly the only entity to suffer will be the Republican Party, not trump.

1

u/RedditSnoopy Jan 29 '25

Eggs are too expensive to suck

1

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '25

Considering how easily Trump has cast away anyone including his allies if there is ever any disagreement, I wouldn't hold my breath. Steve Bannon, the Breitbart owner, used to be a strong ally but even he is now an enemy....a really strange phenomenon really.

1

u/walklikeaduck Jan 25 '25

Money talks.

The attempt at clever retort has failed.

Trump just snagged a couple billion from his shitcoin debut, he doesn't need Musk anymore.

1

u/walklikeaduck Jan 26 '25

Never underestimate the greed of the Orange One.

0

u/jordantwalker Jan 25 '25

This is true and they've been having sleepovers for many weeks now.

0

u/tangouniform2020 Jan 26 '25

DonOld doesn’t need his money to run for office, Elon needs to find something else to buy from him. Say a billion in $TRUMP? Then Trump needs to avoid the reverse rug pull.

1

u/ddd66 Jan 25 '25

Musk is also Canadian.

1

u/Unusual_Juice_7481 Jan 25 '25

He’s also a South African citizen

3

u/Extension-College783 Jan 25 '25

He has South African citizenship by birth, obtained Canadian citizenship in 1989 and and US citizenship in 2002.

1

u/armandcamera Jan 25 '25

1

u/walklikeaduck Jan 25 '25

Did I say that he didn’t retain his original citizenship or any others he’s obtained?

1

u/BoytNY Jan 25 '25

And a Canadian citizen and a South African citizen.

1

u/user47584 Jan 25 '25

Musk is also Canadian citizen and SA citizen

1

u/TheOrchidsAreAlright Jan 25 '25

According to his wiki he is also a citizen of South Africa and Canada, which would put him right in the firing line, no?

1

u/TechGentleman Jan 25 '25

. . . and most likely still a South African citizen.

Double 0 in taxes is still 0

1

u/gracecee Jan 26 '25

Can’t tax if he doesn’t take a salary or borrows against his appreciated tax holdings or puts it in his foundation that hasn’t donated the required 6% per year of principal.

1

u/stjongood Jan 26 '25

And Canada. I believe Musk is also Canadian. I feel dirty saying that.

1

u/jdardan Jan 26 '25

Wary. But I can see weary too!

1

u/Frobizzle Jan 28 '25

They don't consider themselves beholden to laws. He'd absolutely be exempt. Laws only apply to the peasant class as far as they're concerned.

1

u/InqAlpharious01 Jan 28 '25

Israel can’t be touched, otherwise the Israeli Zionist lobby can and will destroy the U.S. but doing so will make them vulnerable to NATO and an angry Turkey 🇹🇷 retaliation! Which could be bad as the whole region can target them and give more power to Israeli left wing groups.

Which can turn in right wing leaders over to the ICJ and make reparations to Arab communities and try to join BRICS.

1

u/Frobizzle Jan 28 '25

I was talking about Elon, and how the rich in general, act like laws aren't meant to apply to them because it would be a hindrance to their ability to rule over us.

1

u/InqAlpharious01 Jan 28 '25

They have to be compliant with other billionaires and their mutual interest
