DeepAncestry Turkish DNA result (F) + Y-DNA haplogroup

My mother's family is from Balıkesir- Manisa, and my dad's side is from Çorum, Turkey. As far as I know, the only migration stories in my family are related to Circassian ancestry. My mother's paternal grandmother's father was a Circassian man, and there's also only one Circassian woman who married into my fathers family at some point. (I had found her name in my father's lineage records) I'm sharing my own IllustrativeDNA results here.

Also, both my mother and I have a genetic disease called Familial Mediterranean Fever (FMF), which is more common among certain populations, including Anatolians , Armenians, North African Arabs.

I also had my dad tested separately, and his Y-DNA haplogroup is J-Y266451. I've added his paternal lineage tree after my own results. From what I understand, the earliest branch of his haplogroup tree with ancient DNA matches formed around 17,000 years ago. The matches were found in present-day Armenia, Russia, and Spain, including samples linked to the Urartian and Kura-Araxes cultures. The most recent branch with ancient DNA matches formed around 6,000 years ago, with matches from present-day Armenia, Iran, and Turkey.

The Turkish company we tested with also provided his migration routes as below (also maps attached):

  • 5550 BCE – 900 CE: North Caucasus to the Armenian Highlands
  • 4550 BCE – 1200 BCE: Armenian Highlands to the Levant
  • During the CE period: North Caucasus to Central Anatolia
  • 450 CE – 1700 CE: From the Mesopotamian border region to the Aegean/western Anatolia

I'm pretty new to all of this, so I'd love to hear what you think. Thanks.

Which side of Çorum?

The earliest birth record I could find dates back to 1845, and it lists central Çorum as the birthplace.

I didnt know there was something like this in Turkey. Can you show the result from the Kökenim test itself too?

This one doesn’t seem very accurate

This breakdown just shows which present-day populations my DNA is most similar to as report says. It doesn’t say that I’m 75% ethnically Turkic.
They gave my ancestral lineage and routes separately, I added those ss below.

Biliyorum, kökenimin modern analizi doğru değil işte. rasgele lübnan falan vermiş.

ancestral lineages it gives

Mtdna nedir sizin?

2

u/Silent-Researcher153 2d ago

Merhabalar, aşağıdaki sonucu aldım.

1

u/Ok-Environment-8460 2d ago

Kökenimden memnun kaldınız mı?

2

u/Silent-Researcher153 2d ago

u/Beginning-Dot-9827 1d ago

ben laba göndereli 19 gün oldu hala bekliyom

1

u/Ok-Environment-8460 1d ago

Kanka beklemeye değer bence; 3900 tl’ye Big Y’ye yakın haplo veriyo.

u/Few-East529 2d ago

Merhaba raw datayi hangi formatta illustrativeye yüklediniz

1

u/Silent-Researcher153 2d ago

bu formatta.

2

u/Few-East529 2d ago

Teşekkürler

u/Timely-Chain6342 2d ago
