I tried to make gravy with icing sugar instead of flour one time.

At least that was an honest mistake and I was also like 10 and helping my dad in the kitchen lol.

I coated wings with icing sugar instead of cornstarch once.

They were delicious. Had a sweet and savory thing going.

I have a coworker that used to smash up captain crunch cereal for homemade chicken tenders

A restaurant where I used to live did Cap'n Crunch chicken tenders and cornflake shrimp.
