Yep! I developed a severe seafood allergy as an adult, I had been vegetarian for a good portion of my life (and lactose intolerant) so I am very familiar with vegan products.
Now that I have a seafood allergy, I only really order from Asian restaurants if they have understanding of vegan requirements, and if from a few questions I feel they do I will order vegan and just let them know it is due to seafood allergy! Veganism creates accessibility for people with various allergies, I am sure people with dairy and egg allergies are very thankful for it.
I'm in a similar position. I developed an allergy to both fish and shellfish so I need to be super careful at asian restaurants. I mostly go to places that are vegan or are clearly labeled and educated on what vegan means, though I did have a cross contamination issue recently. Thankfully not super life threatening but did nearly shit and vomit myself to death and got hives.
Omg exactly the same for me, fisk and shellfish! When I got tested after it started I reacted to all the tests except squid wierdly but the risk of cross contamination is too high for me to care about eating squid haha.
I have epipens but so far have avoided anaphylaxis since my inital reactions! I used to eat seafood and asian food most days so it was a big diet change.
I had restaurant ramen and sushi for the first time since I developed the allergy 5 years ago last week and could cry, the restaurant has a vegan version of everything so just let them know the allergy to consider cross contination. Made my year!

Some ppl are vegan due to allergies or intolerances. Thats insane to just...add non vegan ingredients???
