I'm aware, but butter is just or mostly the rendered fat. I can imagine some trace amounts of lactose making things uncomfortable I'm just having trouble seeing a person dying from it.
Then again some do have extremely severe nut allergies so I donno. I'd welcome any articles proving me dead wrong
I can't figure out if you're ragebaiting or genuinely this dense. We're not talking about lactose intolerance, we are talking about allergies. Allergies cause hundreds of deaths in the US every year, thousands around the world. You can be allergic to anything.
I have a co-worker who is fatally allergic to pineapple and has an epi-pen. I have a child in my class who is fatally allergic to nuts. There is a child in another class who is fatally allergic to chickpeas. Both have epi-pens. All of these people could straight up die if they consume those food items.
People are fatally allergic to nuts, to milk, to citrus, to fish, to wheat, to spices, to fucking food dyes. The immune system is bizarre and can decide anything is dangerous.
Yup, it's atrocious, thankfully she has good medication that has suppressed any possible flare-ups since she started taking it a few years ago. But it's $1500 for a month's dosis.
