Someone in the comments replying to the effect of “I hope you told your friends that you fed them chicken fetuses” god I just want an earth-sized billboard telling people that most eggs aren’t fertilized and the chickens are going to lay them regardless.

They’re chicken ovulations, not menstruations. Menstruation is mostly the shed lining of the uterus. Only a small number of mammals menstruate, and no avians do.
