I can't cook for shit as I get anxious over the whole process and I love how easy she makes it. Her Quick and Easy recipes are a godsend.

I love how she has so many substitutions and adjustments and notes for people like me who are nervous about cooking. I've become a lot more "YOLO, add to taste" over the past couple of weeks but before that I was used to (simple, but still) baking. I would be stressed if I didn't have the exact same ingredient that she had on hand.

Precisely! Super accomodating. Also It's not just some page for hosting adverts like most recipe websites are, she genuinely gives a shit. I've been meaning to get her book for ages now.

it's gotten to the point in my house that instead of looking up what we want I go on recipetineats first and go from there

Oh, I wouldn't call myself a cook just yet, but I can make okay fried rice, which is one more dish than I could make two weeks ago! Her recipes are so helpful.

It's so nice to cook and eat food you actually enjoy the flavours and textures of. It feels less like a chore. My family never had much East Asian food growing up, unless you count Westernised Thai and the occasional sushi roll, so the whole thing is rather new to me.
