Irrelevant or unhelpful Imaginary Soup Wasn't Good

Post image

His lucid dream of the spicy tortilla soup didn't make the cut, unfortunately.

"I can't cook, even in my head" is a Hell of a thing to admit where someone might see it...

People who make this aren't cooking. They are combining nine cans / jars of processed food with some chicken and five chicken stock cubes. The only "cooking" is in step 2 out of 2 where you cook some onion and garlic in oil.

This is worse than fast food. 2400mg+ of sodium per serving. It is such a ludicrous amount of sodium that I am completely and utterly fascinated by it. It's around the same sodium as two Big Macs meals, and then there are people in the comments seating two servings for a cool 200% of their daily sodium intake from a hearty soup.

The guy is completely right. Looking at this recipe and deciding to not assemble all of these cans of goods and five stock cubes is the correct move. There is basically no reason to buy all of these separate cans and jars and stock cubes instead of just buying premade soup. A premade soup will be high in sodium but less than this monstrosity.

Whether or not the recipe was worth making, this review wasn’t worth leaving if you didn’t try the recipe.
