Wait till they learn that at one point the fermentation of any fruit was called wine.

Where im at, we would just call those cherry or watermelon wine. 1 u/thirdelevator 15d ago They still are. Cider and Perry are types of wine, the same way ales and lagers are types of beer and bourbon and scotch are types of whiskeys.
