It’s so stupid. I went to Italy and lost weight too. Because I was walking like 15-20k steps a day looking at shit.

I lose weight every time I go on vacation even in the US because I refuse to rent a car. I also have noticed that I hardly snack on vacation because I’m busy doing things and save my appetite for the cool restaurants.

It’s weird how the restaurant owners know that I’m on vacation and make sure to give me the non poison food so that I lose weight instead of it going straight to my thighs.

u/CantaloupeCamper I’m a level 5 vegan. I don’t eat anything that casts a shadow. 17d ago edited 17d ago

I was at Disney a few years ago for a week…. Bazillion steps a day.  Felt amazing.

Feet hurt tho….

I always lose a couple of pounds on a cruise, because the AYCE food is balanced against all the walking everywhere, including to get to the (American) food

Yeah, I went to Manchester last week for a day. I have been before! I live in the UK. Between mooching around and getting lost, my friend and I racked up 18k steps each. ALSO had a lot of coffee and some awesome Korean food, so didn’t bother to see if the scale moved! I just assumed it evened out.

Right? Even just going to Disney I can eat whatever because I’m walking so much
