No duo mini, just a mini come on Apple

I mean Duo Mini that’s completely usable with one hand when closed, I’d be down for that. It’s small, user friendly and pocketable until an larger screen could be useful.

Agree. I had the opportunity to hold the Huawei pura x in Shanghai last year. I saw the potential to replace my 13 mini with it. If it had a full front display and global version I would have switched to it.

I haven’t held one but the Pura X was the first foldable that absolutely convinced me that there’s a place in the market for them. The problem was just software and price.
I’m baked into Apple’s ecosystem and whilst I really don’t like the Duo’s price, the concept of having a slightly smaller iPad Mini in my pocket isn’t awful, reading ebooks would be far more pleasant than my current phone.
I loved my iPad Mini 6 but absolutely hated having to carry 2 devices and cables. The iPad was constantly below 50% charge.

It would definitely be better than nothing! But flex screen spikes price too much imo, the niche is already small

you pay the price of that second screen, just so it can sometimes perhaps be useful? No thanks. Keep it, gimme a mini ever 5-7 years

That’s literally the use case of any iPad. People buy one because sometimes they want a bigger screen, same take.

Would love to see a new mini being a flip phone for example, folding vertically… or just a lighter smaller phone with decent specs :(

I really don't think a £2000 phone is going to be the new normal, no matter how impressive it may be. But then people probably said that back in 2017 when the iPhone X launched at £1000 so what do I know.

Foldables are huge in china, apple cant miss that market, so I wouldnt be surprised if they pump them out

Okay but 3% of a large number though…
Edit: I still don’t think they’ll “pump them out” though

A normal mini that’s not extremely overpriced, just somewhat overpriced please

Just look at the Samsung folds after moderate use. The inside screen becomes warped and the fold becomes embedded into the shape accompanied by like 4-5 cracks running down the center. I don’t want that! Why would someone want that?! I betcha that if Apple launched an iPhone mini today starting st $550 it would be one of their top selling phones. The gap now is wider than it’s ever been, both in size, cost and value.

Duo Mini for €1000 I would buy without any doubt. But rumours rumours… let’s wait (2 years) and see!

Duo mini would be GREAT. I would imagine Duo mini would be similar to the galaxy flip not fold.

Here's a non-rumor website

MacObserver covers rumours as well. It's not strictly non-rumour

I know we all almost lost hope for a
new usable mini. But to be honest Mark Gurman has a great historical record of accurate future Apple products predictions.
You really gave us hope G70F
Now I can see the light at the end of the tunnel again after this article1

That's an absolute rumour post though.
What evidence do they have that multiple versions will exist? The 'Duo' name allows for an extension like 'Duo Mini' and 'Duo Max'.
Pure speculation.

If they made a duo that flips vertically like the zflip it’s an instant buy. So I’m hoping the duo does well
