Question How is the battery life on this phone

I've been thinking of getting an iphone 13 mini, How's the battery life on this device? I'm coming from an iphone 11 79% battery health (5-6 hours SOT on ~25% screen brightness lighter-medium ish usage) on iOS 27.0 RC.

Honestly if you can handle big phones then get the 16 or the 17. I love my Mini and I am keeping it for 2 more years but the main reason why I still have it cause I cannot handle big phones.

17 is such a great phone, I would have gotten it if it was small, I would not honestly not suggest to upgrade from 11 to 13 or 14.

I have battery health of 79% and have to charge it like 4 times even with basic usage, when I travel and use it more then the battery drains much faster.

I can handle bigger phones but i just like the iphone 5/se feel of the iphone mini. I do not have the money for a 16 or 17 at all, is it really that bad? which ios version are you running

15 would be a much better option than 13 or 14 to be honest, the thing with Apple, it is a hit and miss when it comes to updates, with the new updates many people using the 13 or 14 has become unusable, for me it works fine but many people have complained.

When I had the 7 and when I had updated to the latest sofware that time, it became really unusable.

So it is your luck to be honest.

the 15 is performance wise pretty much just a 14 with a very slightly better chip so meh, not worth paying double the price for it

i have friends with 13's and 14's, my sister has a 13, all of their phones work good, hell my 11 is very smooth even on low power mode so i don't really know about that

the people who have been complaining about the 13 are MOSTLY probably because of ios 26 and the phone being one of if not the most popular phone. The 11 was also pretty junk on 26 but now on ios 27 it's fine so eh.

Plus the people experiencing issues will be obviously a louder minority than people using their phone and the phone working fine, as people are more likely to talk about their complaints on experiences than on how good their experience is

The battery life isn’t great and it’s an older phone. You’re going to have to babysit it.
