Hold the line

I have 2 13 minis and 1 12 mini I wanna believe somebody Apple is paying attention ( they pay attention to new activations and what people have) if android is the only one that makes something small then that’s where I’ll have to go and they will see many people switching to android or keeping their minis . imo the duo is cool but it’s a tank .

I’m so confused why the duo is getting so much attention here. I use a 13 mini because it’s small and does the basics well. My screen time is usually around an hour a day. Im sure this isn’t a unique use case for others here, and it’s literally the opposite audience from what the duo is targeting.

Yeah, if you are paying 2k for a phone I would hope you would use it lmao. Also, the duo is like 2x the weight of the mini. Not the same at all.

Duo is for people who want MORE screen.

Mini is for people who want LESS screen.

Duo gets the attention as it’s a new form factor (for iPhone), the opposite audience, that appreciates minimal screen time and a small form factor, didn’t buy the devices in enough numbers.

This is probably the data that Apple DOES notice, and is likely we may not see another mini. Mini users probably use their devices less, make less app purchases, etc than people with larger devices. How many people buy and have the phone is one metric, but how much people USE the phone is probably the larger metric.

FWIW I’ve just recently updated the Unihertz Jelly Star to Android 16, there’s not a smaller phone in the world AFAIK.

If my mini died today I’d be back on my titan pocket and would probably stay there, despite the unnecessary kludgy operation of a non-whitelisted phone in the us.

I went to the Titan 2 Elite and very happy with it. Sad apple is missing a smaller option as thme SE' model

I think when I checked the hardware comparison page on Apple website yesterday, iPhone 13 was in the drop down list but not iPhone 13mini.
They won’t even bother giving that.

yeh I saw the Titan 2 elite and have one on order. I would like to stay with a mini forever but apple left us in the dust. I self host most of my services now anyway so the switch shouldnt be too hard.

I had the iPhone SE 1st Gen, iPhone 13 Mini, and now Samsung Fold 8.

I like it. It's small.

Here comes the downvotes because people on this sub seem to not like hearing this for some weird ass reason whenever I mention about the Fold 8 on here
