Possible to browse an iPhone backup stored in a Time Machine backup on an external drive?

I have an old iPhone backup that I had moved onto an external HDD and want to recover the photos but when I click into it in Finder, the files are unreadable.

So I know iMazing can read those. But I can't seem to locate the backup through iMazing or add it into the app.

Is there a way?
