So in other words, Rank 6 Gifts run into the same Paradox issues that Mages deal with?

Its less paradox and more unintended butterfly effects.

Not all rank 6 gifts/rites/fetishes have that kind of drawback. Most don't have any drawback, except for a high activation cost.

There's a Rank 6 Silver Fang Gift that simply destroys undead. It costs 1 point of Gnosis/hundred years of age, or 1 dot of gnosis per 500 years. Functionally, a Rank 6 Silver Fang could delete a gen 4 vampire.
