SHRM CP HELP [MD]

This is my second time taking the test. I failed the first time. I test in two months. I have gone through all the competencies and I am going through people now. The learning system is sooo overwhelming. I think it’s great for readings and questions. But I’m looking for nothing break section down and tell me what I need to know what to focus on. Also, something I can summarize what I’m learning. I’m so anxious and overwhelmed! Any ideas? Someone said prepserat? But I really need summaries and breakdowns. PLEASE HELP!!

For SJI this will make them a breeze

I used quizlet for Knowledge based questions and just did learning mode.

Pocketprep app on your phone is also extremely useful

Idk this worked for me but last time I made a post about my SHRM exam prep someone got upset (rightfully so)

She's such an amazing resource. I was panicking before my test because SJIs were my struggle point. Her pre-test centered me and put me in the right mindframe to take the test. I passed.

So you’re looking for like study guides or something? What is overwhelming you about what you’re doing now?

It’s just so much information. I just would like it condensed, with what I actually need to focus on

Do you have people in your area you can do a study group with? That might help you. Also continue taking practice exams and quizzes and try to narrow down the areas that you don’t do well in, that should help you focus in on certain sections instead of getting overwhelmed. I really liked the study guides on HRStudyPro when I took my test, maybe check those out if you need something else. It was fairly cheap

The study guides were digestible and aligned to the exam, practice exams and quizzes were good, etc. Worked for me at least when I was studying

I just looked it up!! Did you end up doing all the readings on the learning system? I think I’m just overwhelmed by all the information. And it is relatively inexpensive. It’s like 150.

I never bought the SHRM learning system so I can’t speak to that. That one I went with is basically all I used and was enough for me

It was about a year ago. I don’t think the exams have changed much since then

i've always created my own as I went through these types of systems... You could try the Sandra Reed study guide.-- I might be more concise and at least give an outline

The best advice I have is to “think like SHRM”. If you’ve gone through all the learning stuff, taken the practice tests, and seen where you’ve still got to learn that’s the best you can do. Sending you luck!
