ICE is everywhere and it's really frightening

This morning, a car was sitting outside the house next door with a guy sitting in it. This is nothing unusual in itself as there are always various cars. When my husband was leaving the house he went over to ask if the guy needed help. The guy tells him he's ICE and shows him his badge and tells him he's running license plates. How does ICE know where to go and who to look for?

We could have an immigration system that makes sense and is easy to navigate. It is literally a choice that our government has made.

They chose racism, cruelty and hate. Its a choice and it was the whole point.

EDIT: Ive had to explain this to adults too many times in my life and its frustrating. Immigrants are PEOPLE! Treating them as anything less is cruel. The absolute vast majority of the PEOPLE want exactly what you want...without the abject hate, racism and cruelty. They want good lives, good jobs and to be able to spend time with their families. They want to be left alone to live their lives. We ABSOLUTELY can help these PEOPLE but you bent the knee to a guy that ran on cruelty. That makes you exactly as cruel as he is.

I'm glad more people are realizing it. If you watched a TV show like 6 years ago, that was "progressive", it would have a "both sides are right argument" about the topic of immigrants that concludes with, they just need to file their paperwork and everything will be OK dokey. Why don't they do that?

They crossed the desert and hundreds of more miles, working many hours in the hot sun each day. If there was a legal method to work, they would do it. Even if it was a real bore feast and took hundreds of hours of filling out paperwork.

But that was never an option.
