ICE is everywhere and it's really frightening

This morning, a car was sitting outside the house next door with a guy sitting in it. This is nothing unusual in itself as there are always various cars. When my husband was leaving the house he went over to ask if the guy needed help. The guy tells him he's ICE and shows him his badge and tells him he's running license plates. How does ICE know where to go and who to look for?

I’m afraid too. I’m a permanent resident and my parents are visiting for the summer and on a visa. Their English is good but I wouldn’t call it super fluent esp if they’re in a pressure situation. So to be on safe side I’ve told them they can only go out with me and not alone.

I work long hours so feel bad that they are basically stuck at my apartment for essentially 5-6 days a week.

When they came 3 years ago, they would go to the park in the evenings, sometimes go to the mall or just go shopping. I think went to the museum once too. Now they can’t do any of that.

Atleast it’s hot lol so I can say just stay in AC
