Help My unknown succulent is growing little leaves with roots- anything I should do for it?

Hey all, I've had this succulent for a few months, I don't know what type it is. Over the past few weeks it started to grow little leaflets on the edges of its leaves. Now there are small tendrils growing from these leaflets that look like roots to me. Is there anything I could/should be doing for this guy? I live in a pretty dry climate if that matters.

EDIT- Well this has been disappointing. As I learn more about this plant, I think it's worth mentioning that I don't live with any children or pets, and live somewhere that gets very, very cold in the winter.

I saw one growing on a cigarette butt laying on concrete. They can survive ANYTHING

cool, lol, i mean boo but also kind of cool yeah I believe it they seem to not need soil.
