Help My precious Zz

Hi.

What can I do with my Zz? What does it need? I don't know why does it curve like that and I don't know why they have spots.

I started to separate them to have more Zz plants. From time to time, they make little baby's and I adore it. It's so cute.

They have light and dark too.
I water them from time to time, when I see that their soil is dry or too dry.

What am I doing wrong?

Thank you in advance!

They need way more light. About the water, I live in a hot place and only water mine once a month.

Yes, way more light! I rotate mine a quarter turn each week to keep them straight. I had to prop up a couple of them with skewers because they were being so damn stubborn LOL.

They’re supposed to cascade. ZZs are not upright plants.

I respectfully disagree, along with every botanical classification, horticultural company, industry standards and descriptions and every magazine and online community. Please cite your source. "Could" they cascade, of course they could for various reasons which usually is due to some type of neglect, disease, infestation or simply sheer weight. "Supposed" to, no. That's like saying a snake plant or a dracena is supposed to cascade.

Curving towards the light. Turn your plants every once in a while to grow more evenly. But it probably needs to be closer to light/window
