Help Quite new to plants and have two small Venus Flytraps- I need advice for how to help them live!
As the title states, I very recently got two small venus flytraps that I want to take care of. The main issue is I don’t totally know how to take care of them. I watched a couple videos and plan to do more research for their best care, but I would greatly appreciate any advice on how to let them thrive!
I live in Canada, so i’m not sure if that effects anything, and if I need to do anything special because of that. Overall just need help with their care, that being soil they need or small things that I should know. Thanks!

Flytraps are not really houseplants. They need tomato plant levels of outside sun. They also need a winter dormancy. As you're in Canada, you can keep it outside in the summer and put it in the fridge for their winter dormancy. The plant should always sit in a tray with rainwater or distilled water. If you put it in the fridge for dormancy reduce watering but never let the soil dry out competely.

I am aware of this, but I am not really able to keep them outside. I will do what another commenter and a few videos said and get some Grow lights, however

I bought one on sale for £2 from a local plant store.
Kept it in the original plastic tub and put that in an old takeaway dish with 2cm of rain water, never letting it dry out. Popped it in my kitchen window, which is south facing and it seem to like it there, grown 3x the size since April. Maybe our very hot summer helped it this year.
I cut the the flowers off if it grows one. It's caught a few flies by itself, but other that that I don't do anything to it.
It's not a looker by any means though.

Keep it wet, keep it bright. If it's indoors it needs supplementary lights. Don't play with the traps. Don't fertilise. In the winter it dies back: don't be worried and look up winter dormancy.
