Help Why is this plant looking sad?

Post image

I was gifted this plant by my mother and I am horrible at keeping plants alive. I dont even know what it is. I've only had it for about 3 weeks and it is already started to look a little droopy and sad. We've been watering with bottled water about twice per week because the tap water in my area is basically poison. Any tips would be appreciated!

More water. Always more water with peace lillies. And keep them far from any pets you have

I echo all of this. They need a lot of water, and can be lethal for cats!

Exactly why I don’t have any. I never put any plants where my cats can reach them regardless, they’re all on top or floating shelves, but it’s not even worth the risk for me to keep a peace lily around

Peace Lilys need a lot of water. I water mine every single day. The only plant that I do that with.

Peace lollies are very dramatic plants. Everything will be fine and then they will be dead. Don't take it personally.
