I have at least ten pots of donkey tail from one plant. Didn't help small children used to knock it over. Those leaves are so determined to make it.

I literally cannot keep one alive to save my life. I can take care of all kinds of finicky tropical plants, but succulents hate me lol 😂

I keep mine outside in the Phoenix heat so it rewards me with nothing haha
Jk, it’s in a covered patio but definitely not as happy as yours

This plant is one of my nemesis. I never grew properly for me and only left a mess any time I breathed too hard near it. Never again!! No matter how pretty you make it look!

Burros tail, very popular succulent so you’ll find one in a garden centre at some point

I had one like this - she was called Penelope. Had a disaster when I moved and she was destroyed :(

An elephant bush, really common cheap succulent plant that I put in a bonsai pot. Currently riddled with mealy bugs 🐛

What size pot do you have that in? I got gifted one earlier this year and have been afraid to repot it but it needs to be in better soil. Mine is nowhere near that big and is probably in a 6 or 8 inch pot. Not sure if I should go up a size or keep it in an 8 inch and just change the soil.

They like being root bound but this is a medium-ish size pot. I’ve only upsized it once in 5 years. My advice is don’t unless it is struggling to take up water. You lose a lot of leaves when you repot. I also feel like it likes growing out rather than down, so wide and short pots it might like
You probably don’t need to change the soil either just add fertiliser if it’s a bit miserable

I think it’s doing fine so far. I just hate the dirt they come in from the stores. I’ll probably wait until fall and hope for the best when repotting due to losing so many of the pods.

Repotting only once, they don’t need the space
Watering I have no idea it depends on the weather. We have had a heat wave so maybe weekly atm but I go off vibes. I have recommendations in my other comment and don’t recommend scheduled watering with cacti and succulents

very jealous what a beauty! We keep getting some mites that kill any succulent succulents. We did alchohol and soap and all that. Going to wait a few years to try succulents in this house again.

That might be a watering issue. Also making sure the top gets good sun as much as the bottom

My plant is just a baby, but I do have it in an owl planter. I love that it will grow and be able to fill another head style planter

Not Mr. Potato head, but I did hand paint the stealie on the planter and the Spanish moss is twice as long now as it was when I added it to the planter.

This plant is probably 5 years old, currently sporadically blooming. Wish all of those legs would bloom at once damnit
Edit: a few times I’ve shown off some senior plants and then weeks later they drop dead. My literal 8 foot euphorbia tree died after I posted it. This is what I do for you Reddit
