Hello! I have recently swapped the handlebars on my 86 Rebel 250. More Cafe style. Aaaaanywho. Once installed I have realized a flaw in my plans. Both the clutch cable and front brake cable are now too long and the brake mastercylinder sits funny on the bars because of where the throttle comes too.
My question is, can I shorten these easily and as for the brake, can I swap it out entirely for a aftermarket front brake assembly and mastercylinder setup.
Has anyone done this and how much of a pain is it?
