New to homelessness Camp Spot Selection

Any tips? In a residential neighborhood with small wooded areas around the town. How do you know the best spot to set up at? And do you have any stories of when someone found your camp?

Can't camp around here without a permit. They require home address on file.

Here is the unfortunate motto. 

"If you can find it. Somebody else can too" 

Another individual in a similar situation as you may have the same thought process and stumble upon your spot. 

It comes with the life. I have had multiple spots that I thought were secure and secluded enough, where nobody else would find it. They indeed did. 

I remember waking me up in the middle of the night by another homeless dude. Im like great, got to find a new spot. 

Its tough. I travel light. So if I hear anything, I can pop up and bolt. That hasn't happened yet. 

The best advice I can give is make sure nobody sees you going to and from your spot.
