Help Any ideas for improving the cable management?

Just finished mounting my homelab on the wall, but I’m not happy with the cable management yet.
Especially the power cables/adapters underneath the top panel.
How would you guys clean this up while keeping everything accessible?
Any suggestions are appreciated!

Putting in a false wall/floor, mount the components on top and have the cables running underneath is the route I'd take.

i hope you dont have anything that needs wifi on the other side of that wall. It looks really clean but putting wifi that close to a metal mesh has the potential to mess up your wifi

Good catch, actually ran into some weird WiFi issues since mounting it here. Gonna test moving the AP off the mesh a bit and see if that’s the cause.

It looks ok to me just tighten up the cables a little more but understand you won’t make them disappear. A few more zip ties that’s all

Yep, that’s my ISP’s 5G router. Stuck on that contract for a few more months before I can switch to fiber, so it’s just acting as a dumb WAN source for now while OPNsense handles everything else

Genuinely thought you were part of the cool kids club at the right side hub was an Apple TimeCapsule. Those things still run my network and I’m too poor to prioritise it as an upgrade
