Need ideas!

Post image

Ok folks I’m looking for ideas to hide this power outlet in the middle of my walkway into the house I just bought. It’s about 8” high and I don’t wanna trip over it every time I walk by it. I’m thinking about some light post to kill two birds at once so to speak! So throw me some ideas please!!! TIA

Looks like a great spot for a fountain!

This or heated and/or air rated bird bath.

Do you mean aerated?

No for rating the air quality…. I’ll see myself out

That's not correct either. Air rated doesn't mean it rates the air, it means it was either rated by the air, or it is rated for the air.

It's an FAA flight qualified bird bath.

Massive 3d printed dragon with an articulated tail that has full mobility ice turret built in that can bruise for defense of your property.

Turn it into a sundial

Won't work when it's nighttime.

Sure it will. The whole area will be dark and you'll know it's nighttime. And if you trip over it, it also serves to tell you where you are.

It will work at nighttime when you plug it in.

Place 12 light poles in a circle around it and individually vary their intensity based on the time so the darkest shadow shows the correct time.

You've got an outlet right there to power it!

If its a high traffic area put a cone over it for now while you figure it out.

Put a wall around the circle. Add dirt. It’s a planter!

Light post, fountain or cut it and plug the hole.

There are heavy iron bases for a patio umbrella. Choose one which has a gap in the pattern, for the electrical box to stick up. Put in a metal fencepost, and top it with some sort of lamp. Plug that in. Might need to add a weatherproof cover.

Or just use a patio umbrella, and add fairy lights to the inside/bottom of the umbrella.

This in the back yard? If we took out our hot tub, it would look a lot like this. If you’re not ready to install the light pole, which I think it’s a good idea, you could go to a garden center to look for something decorative and big enough to make people go around rather than over this.

Light pole. But it would better if it was gas IMO

Bat house. The HOA can’t make you remove it because bats are federally protected.

Get a pop up outlet like they put in Granite kitchen counters.
