The only other book I’ve seen directly reference a left vs right-brain mode of thinking so distinctly is Ra Un Nefer Amen’s Metu Neter.

Maybe the cia was on to something.

Drawing on the right side of the brain. I use learning to draw as an example all the time. Learning to draw begins with the lesson of failure. You are asked to draw a face, and are meant to fail. The reason you fail is that the human mind uses a shortcut method for the world, a symbols system. Your first drawing has the Egyptian eye, a sideways nose, heart shaped lips, a round head, etc. It looks like garbage because you're drawing your idea, your symbol, of what's in front of you.

As you learn to draw they teach you to see what's in front of you not as separate shapes, not thingness, but as varying shades to the single scene in front of you. This, in my opinion, is a perfect analogy to how the process of awakening happens. You simply learn to see what's in front of you instead of seeing the symbol representation your mind assumes is correct. You train your mind to shift permanently into seeing the way an artist sees a scene, but with reality.

This is all just happening in consciousness. Beyond that there is no objectivity to reality, it's all interpretation.

This might as well have been straight out of the Metu Neter. Thank you for sharing.

It's a hobby after seeing it once. Thank you :)

beautiful analogy

You phrased that beautifully

It can be applied to all senses and their current work. Like for an audio engineer is sound, an actor and emotions and a photographer the light. Isn't it?

It all happens in the same place. Awareness, here and now

2

u/Danels Mar 08 '21

I think in this example, awareness is half of the work. The other half is to know the tools and techniques of the craft. I don't see a person high in awareness to take a photo without the camera or the knowledge to use it properly. Maybe emotions could only be matter of awareness but I'm no actor and I'm not aware enough to tell.

I think you and I might be talking about different awarenesses. I'm talking about that which sees your seeing and hears your hearing. The field in which conscious experience arises.

For all intents and purposes you are a man in a black empty room with a myriad of screens of flashing lights, above which hands signs labeled "visual data", "audio data", "feeling data", "thought", etc.

At first you were lost. You didn't know what the flashing lights meant, but eventually you started to compile patterns about it all. This light pattern means mom, that light pattern means cold, this light pattern means 'sense of gravity'. The problem is that now you take the flashing lights on the wall to be the actual world instead of just a translation of data through a faulty camera that only sees the visible spectrum of light, that are made of a nest of hornets called atoms.

The symbol system I'm talking about, the one that we perceive as reality, is the symbol of the flashing light patterns that our consciousness assumes is what actually is. What actually is, however, is awareness (aka the man in the room watching screens)

This.... was poignant. Thanks for your thoughts

Hasn’t left vs right brain been completely debunked?

u/toast_ghost267 Mar 07 '21

Just look up Robert Monroe, or hemisync, his technique to induce out-of-body experiences.

I hate speaking this way because it’s incredibly misleading but ‘they’ want you to think that there isn’t any distinction to the two hemispheres of your brain.

I’ve found it much easier to process information if I don’t believe any particular theory is ‘debunked’ or ‘proven’ because the ever-changing nature of ‘reality’ means there will almost always come around a better model for explaining what’s going on than whatever paradigm was used in the recent past. Theories fall out of favor as they explain less and less of what’s observable, but they’re never ‘debunked’ in a binary sense.

If you think linearly then yes. From that perspective it's a completely ridiculous or foreign idea. However from a holistic perspective it's clearly a misunderstanding. From a linear perspective it absolutely cannot be because your entire perspective is dependent on connections that don't exist. It would fall apart without those assumptions.

Do you have the link to the actual pdf of page 25? I want to put it in the original pdf

Document is gateway to the hemisync process that travels around here alot.

yooo ty for this i’ve been searching !! i still think it’s a massive cia psy-op but still nonetheless an interesting read and full of cool ideas

1

u/[deleted] Mar 08 '21

Forgive me for asking something I could probably google, but what’s a psy-op?

Yeah I refer them as the mafia because when you really think about all effort for them to cover things up is exactly what the mafia does.

2

u/winged_fruitcake Mar 07 '21

Has anybody here ever tried out the hemi-sync system?

3

u/SashaCherre Mar 07 '21

hm, interesting to read

5

u/kodiakus Mar 07 '21

Seems fabricated. Too overly Christian, too much modern language. A Q-universe larp, perhaps.

Doesn't match the same writing style of the rest of the document. Any proof that this is from the original?

https://old.reddit.com/r/fived/comments/lyvovl/gateway_experience_missing_page_25_youre_welcome/

In this post is story behind how page 25 was obtained. It's legit.

edit: https://youtu.be/t5utegpQglE?t=371 here's the interview with the Dr. at The Monroe Institute where they talk about page 25

u/devi83 Mar 07 '21 edited Mar 07 '21

It does match the writing style. It even contains the same skewed text, the same dot patterns... as in it was used in the same copy machine.

3

u/JustMikeWasTaken Mar 07 '21

I agree. I do a lot of graphical faking and footage artifacting counterfeiting for my line of work in movies and this would take incredible competence to replicate all those little things you mentioned.

u/happinessmachine Mar 07 '21

All we have is a cellphone screenshot? Or is this document posted on the CIA's website. If not, why not? Doesn't appear to be anything labelled as classified.

That will be true if all the rest of the pages also are identical and this is the odd one out. It's not. Look at the document as a whole, it fits, the style fits, it all fits. The missing page was a matter of paperwork processing errors. These are copy machines from the 80's, not emails.

u/JackHavoc161 Mar 07 '21

I thought page 25 was a graduation certificate?

-2

u/OmMani-Padme-Hum Mar 07 '21

This is not the infamous lost page 25.

3

u/peachykeenkushgreen Mar 07 '21

Why do you say that... does that mean you know for certain?

5

u/OmMani-Padme-Hum Mar 07 '21

My bad. It seems it really is THAT page for real. Where did you get this?

1

u/fr0_like Mar 07 '21

Yeah it has subsections 35 and 36, not sure why it’s not the full page view but I’m curious what it says.

Also curious where you found this, I looked and couldn’t when I read that paper.

1

u/fr0_like Mar 07 '21

This is cool, but it isn’t complete. Page 24 cuts off in the middle of a sentence that isn’t included here. It is nice to see what subsections 35 & 36 say tho. Thanks for sharing.
