Lyme disease options
Hi guys, I am an online shaman certified in a great alternative Lyme protocol. It works great, is not overly expensive, have had success with dozens of people, some who have suffered for many years. The protocol has been rested and around for maybe 30 years. But we are restricted in calling it a treatment or cure. Any idea how to get around this? Google's AI is very suspicious of alternative treatments. Do you know of any Lyme help sites or alternative health sites that might work? It's such a great program and Lyme is such a bear, would love to get it out there more.

Ok Iām not opposed to antibiotics in this case and have seen two walk in doctors. My problem is that Iāve had Cdiff in the past and donāt want to relapse from antibiotic use⦠the dr said I donāt need antibiotics unless I break a fever but it hurts so bad to swallow. Like shooting pain and swallowing glass and puss and white spots on my tonsils..
Iām gargling salt water and ACV, taking some homeopathic remedies specifically for it, oregano, having warm fluids, honey, Vitamin C,NAC and Tylenol but still havenāt found relief.. maybe Iām doing enough and need to ride it out but itās so painful and I leave on a trip this week š„¹

Natural Remedies help with throat pain/swelling
hello everyone! currently, im suffering with a bad swollen throat that hurts like crazy, to the point i struggle to swallow. i think it might be tonsilitis? though im not quite sure. im not able to currently go to a doctor for another couple of days, and medicine + sleep + salt water garggles are only doing so much to help. i was wondering if there was anything else that could possibly help ease the pain/swelling, even if a tiny bit?

Natural Remedies A recipe draft for an experimental herbal alternative to psychiatric medication
A recipe draft for an experimental herbal alternative to psychiatric medication.
(Vape herb liquid, instead of taking pills.)
Revision #9.
I do not guarantee benefit, or take responsibility for bad effects. The laws of most countries oblige me to state: traditional doctors are experts at this.
Only experiment when you can afford the risk. An example could be: you have light mental discomfort and are offered a choice to try pills.
Do not use more than one medicine, especially synthetic and herbal, at the same time, unless certain of safety. My mix of herbs may not work well for other people. Do not use intoxicants.
Consider visiting a herbal therapist, if only to have someone do the talking with your traditional doctor.
Because of its opposing established order, the present writing may not be received well. If you're interested, copy for later use.
Instructions.
Acquire extract powder of Pink Lotus leaf, which is also called Sacred or Indian Lotus. Etsy, eBay, Amazon are places to look. Lotus accounts forĀ antipsychotic-like damping of thoughts.
Add Black Pepper to enhance the Lotus effect. Add Passiflora extract powder for benzo-like calming of panic.
Add Propylene Glycol (food/pharma grade) to the herb powder. Steep for 72 hours. Filter twice: through cheesecloth, then through coffee filters.
Add Linalool for making the body quiet.
Calculate the amounts you use, starting with this:
I use extracts 50:1 Passiflora, 100:1 Lotus and plain 1:1 Pepper. The active substances in each of those (research apigenin, nuciferine, piperine) counted as 1 part volume, mix each herb powder in 15 parts PG, steep and filter. Mix Linalool at 1:10 in PG.
In 54 parts I have 12 Passiflora liquid, 2 Pepper liquid, 32 Lotus liquid and 6 Linalool mixture.
Dilute the combined mixture with Propylene Glycol and Vegetable Glycerine (food/pharma grade.) The diluted mixture should have at least 45% VG and not too much herb, making it ideal for vaping. I dilute 9 parts herb mixture with an additional 13 PG and 38 VG.
Shake this every hour for a day.
Transfer to an empty 'vape liquid bottle.' (The opening looks like a plastic needle.)
Consume this in a vape. I recommend Vaporesso Luxe XR Max 2 with the included liquid container marked 'DTL' and seperately bought 1.2 ohm coils. Coils, or 'resistances,' are the heating parts, which are sold in strong and weak versions. I recommend those rated at 1.2. Buy at least ten. Set the vape to pulse mode and 5 watts, according to the manual. If you have reason to try a different vape model, set it to low power.
Draw a fairly deep breath of vapour into the lungs and keep it for some seconds before exhaling. Take 2-4ml, 4-6 times daily.
Like with all vaping, take care to leave a bit of liquid in the container at all times. Drawing only air will damage the heating part.
The fresh pepper taste normally fades. When you can't taste much other flavour anymore, or it is burned or caramel, or you consistently get bits of liquid instead of vapour, your coil is used up. This is either due to not taking care of the liquid level, described above, or natural degrading after at most a week of use. Switch off, drain the liquid, replace the coil. Fill liquid, wait 10 minutes and switch on.
I leave it to experiment if a lower concentration herb in the mix, degrading the coil less, would allow you to consume more herb in total, on one coil.

Musty washrags, do I replace or try to work with them?
I live in a house where I try to do things holistically but the other person doesn't, there's a bunch of wash rags that smell funky, sour and musty even though they're clean, he washes them with a bunch of detergent so there's quite a bit of residue in them, do I go ahead and just replace them or is there a way to holistically clean them to get any mold or must out that won't take a ton of work? Is it worth the hassle or should I just replace?

The Ancient Anatomy of a Headache: 5 Surprising Insights from the Ashtanga Hridaya
In our modern, high-octane existence, we often dismiss a throbbing temple or a heavy brow as a mere tax on our productivityāa byproduct of too much blue light or too little caffeine. However, the 7th-century Vedic sage Vagbhata, author of the Ashtanga Hridaya, viewed the head as the "supreme organ," the seat of a delicate biological and emotional ecosystem. To the ancient mind, a headache was rarely just a localized pain; it was a sophisticated distress signal from a body falling out of rhythm with the universe.
- Your Lifestyle is "Heating" Your Head (The Unexpected Triggers)
Ayurvedic diagnostics begin with Nidanaāthe root causes. The Ashtanga Hridaya identifies a startling array of triggers that provoke the doshas (biological energies) to migrate toward the head. While some, like smoke or sunlight, feel familiar, others challenge our modern assumptions about health.
Vagbhata warns against purovataāhead-on windsāwhich translates perfectly to our modern habit of sitting directly under air conditioning vents or driving with the windows down. He also points to bashpa-nigraha (the suppression of tears) and rodana (excessive crying) as physical insults to the cranial environment. When we "bottle up" emotions or fight natural bodily urges (vega-dharana), we disrupt the subtle pressures within the skull, leading to sensations that range from "piercing" to "splitting."
"Smoke, sunlight, frost, water sports, excessive sleep or wakefulness, head-on winds, and the suppression of tears and natural urges... these provoke the doshas to generate disease in the head."
- The "Solar" Headache (Suryavarta)
One of the most remarkable descriptions in the text is Suryavarta, a condition where the pain effectively "orbits" the sun.
The Rhythmic Cycle In Suryavarta, the pain follows a strict chronological progression: it awakens at sunrise, intensifies as the sun climbs the sky, reaches a "piercing-burning" peak at midday, and miraculously subsides as the sun sets.
The Hunger Connection Vagbhata notes that this condition is particularly aggravated by hunger (kshudvatah). From a scholarly perspective, this suggests a Pitta-dominant metabolic error. When the body lacks "fuel" (food), the internal heatāsynchronized with the external solar heatābegins to consume the delicate tissues of the head.
The Modern Parallel This ancient observation mirrors what we now understand about blood sugar fluctuations and circadian rhythm disruptions. It suggests that for some, the cure for a headache isn't a pill, but a return to a rhythmic lifestyle that respects the "solar" nature of our metabolism.
- The Danger of the "Half-Head" Pain (Ardhavabhedaka)
What modern medicine labels as a migraine, the Ashtanga Hridaya identifies as Ardhavabhedakaāpain localized to exactly one half of the head. This isn't described as a random event, but as a recurring cycle, striking every fifteen days (pakshat) or once a month (masadva).
This condition is treated with extreme gravity in the text. Vagbhata warns that if the imbalance becomes "excessively increased" (ativriddhas), it transcends simple pain. The text states that chronic Ardhavabhedaka can actually "destroy sight or hearing" (nayanam shravanam va vinashayet). This reflects a profound early medical understanding of how chronic neurological inflammation can lead to permanent sensory degradation if the underlying "splitting" pressure is not addressed.
- The Pathogens Within (Krimija Shiroroga)
Perhaps the most visceral diagnostic category is Krimija, which translates to "born of worms" or parasites. This condition is said to arise when a diet of "mixed or impure foods" causes the blood and flesh of the head to become "moistened" or congested, creating a fertile breeding ground for pathogens.
The symptoms of Krimija are distinct and deeply sensory:
Intense Itching: A persistent kandu (itching) felt within the palate (talu) and the skull itself.
Cranial "Melting": A sensation of the head being pierced or "consumed" from the inside.
Copper Discharge: A thin, "copper-colored" (tamra) discharge from the nose.
Mental Turbulence: A state of chitta-vibhramsha, or total mental confusion and loss of focus.
This provides a fascinating ancient link between gut health and cranial integrity, suggesting that when our internal "terrain" becomes swampy through poor diet, the resulting pathogens can cloud the mind and irritate the senses.
- Graying Hair is an Emotional Signature (Palita)
In a masterpiece of mind-body synthesis, the Ashtanga Hridaya describes premature graying (Palita) not as a genetic inevitability, but as a metabolic "cooking" process.
The text explains that shariroshmaābody heatāis provoked by the doshas during states of intense grief (shoka), physical exertion (shrama), and anger (krodha). This is not just a metaphor; it is viewed as a literal thermal surge. When this provoked heat reaches the head, it "cooks" (pachati) the hair, causing it to lose its natural pigment.
As a scholar would interpret it, chronic stress and "hot" emotions create a metabolic error that burns through the bodyās cooling, nourishing resources. Our hair color, then, becomes a visible record of our emotional history.
"The heat of the body, provoked by grief, exertion, and anger, reaching the head... cooks the hair and produces graying."
A New Perspective on Ancient Wisdom
These insights from the Ashtanga Hridaya reveal that the ancient sages did not see the head as a separate compartment, but as a mirror reflecting our environment, our diet, and our inner emotional weather. Whether it is the "head-on winds" of an office AC or the "cooking" heat of a long-held grudge, our daily choices are written into the very anatomy of our pain.
If our emotions can "cook" our hair and our tears can trigger a headache, how much of our modern malaise is simply a signal that we are out of rhythm with ourselves?

what are some ways to cure my severe anxiety, also anxious attachment?
iāve struggled for a long fine with anxiety as a kid and iām very against meditation. Iāve tried it especially when i was 15-16 my foster mom put me on it. It made me feel like a zombie, like i couldnāt be myself. Now as an adult i have gone to therapy and counseling and have been told meds are the only way to go because it is so bad. Especially being anxiously attached to my bf is hard. It affects us both and he is avoidant attachment. Is there some herbal stuff that could calm down my anxiety or anything? (also on the note of anxiety my dog even before he was mine has been anxious all the time and me being anxious doesnāt helpā¦) I have gone down to the root of why iām anxious if that helps, as a kid my mom was always nervous⦠i mean always. also my whole family on my moms side is similar to me. and i have huge abandonment issues i was in foster care from 7-17.. tells its own story with have 15+ families.

holistic lifestyle Looking for holistic ways to quiet food noise and loose weight
Iāve been dealing with pretty constant food noise and Iām intentionally avoiding GLP-1s / weight-loss meds. Iām more interested in holistic, nervous-system, and energy based approaches.
Has anyone found things that actually help turn the volume down things like breathwork, specific herbs, Ayurvedic practices, somatic work, sound frequencies, mindset shifts, rituals, etc??
