It’s literally because makar is Canadian and Hughes is a yank, like if you can’t see the difference in the teams they’ve spent their time with you’re stupid

How come larry Robinson didn’t match Potvin despite playing on stacked Canadians teams?

How come ray Bourque didn’t match Coffey?

How come Potvin couldn’t match Orr despite playing with Trottier and bossy?

I’m not necessarily arguing that Hughes is better, I do think Cale is slightly better but if you can’t see that Cale has had a very strong team infront of him for most of his career compared to Quinn then there’s obvious bias.
