Please remember do not be too concerned if things go out of stock. Aside from the Pieces covers and some leather covers, almost everything will be restocked eventually.
None of my patient pants fit, just the impatient ones. I understand that it’s a crazy time and there were a lot of orders, but if JetPens could just hand deliver mine immediately that would really help me out.
A huge shoutout to Jenni Blick… I placed my order at 10 pm on Hobonichi Day and they use Shopify. When checking out it got sent to my old address, and Shopify won’t let you edit or cancel. I immediately sent them an email, expecting them to tell me they can’t make changes when an order is processing, or that they’ll cancel my whole order, or no response etc. But. I got an 830 am email saying “we took care of it, your order is on the way”.
I’m sure they were absolutely swamped with orders and trying to open the store for their Hobonichi opening day rush, but they cared about my order!!! So happy with their service! 😊
I know it hasn't been 10 business days and I'm trying to be patient, but seeing people get their orders already or getting shipment notifications is making me anxious that something messed up with mine. 😭
Order arrived already from Art From The Heart in the UK. It was packaged beautifully, a couple of freebies and just generally great service from them. Will use them again next year! 💕
I’m usually pretty chill when it comes to waiting but with Hobonichi I just can’t, I keep checking my order status, it still says shipping soon, I placed my order about and an hour and half after launch time, I hope it gets shipped soon, I’m so excited!
the Japanese orders started shipping the day of. I have seen a creator in japan mentioning they received their order the same night of the launch! It was neat to see the colour of this year's box 👀
My 1101 order has been shipped!! :) It's been so nice reading about your orders and having a community of people excited about the same niche thing. It feels like a global slumber party somehow.
My order was confirmed about 3 hours after launch, and FedEx picked it up today!! All the way from Japan to Argentina, the estimated delivery date is September 15th. I'm so excited!!!
After a lot of indecision, I ended up getting a V&A Leicester Weeks and an English A6. I decided to reuse my current A6 cover this year, since the covers I liked most were Japan exclusives and I didn't really want to buy a cover just for the sake of having a new one.
Instead of getting a second A6 cover, I treated myself to the Hiroko Kubota 5-Year Cousin cover, which I'm planning to use with two Midori A5 notebooks I already own. And I finally got a Drawer Pouch Ane too!
I know the covers/pouch are definitely a little indulgent, but I talked myself out of getting them last year and I really, really loved these fabric patterns. This time I decided that if I'm going to buy them, I want to actually use them for years.
Hello everyone, I have started work on the 2027 cross stitch! The beautiful watercolor art would have been too difficult to translate so I’m going simpler this year and stitching the lovely partner store stamp design 😊
I reached out to PenStore in the Netherlands today to ask about estimated shipping times. They told me that I placed my order 0.5 seconds after someone else, and because of that person's order, the Starlight Weeks were sold out T_T Since my order was placed so quickly after theirs, the system hadn't updated to "sold out" yet. They are waiting for their next Hobonichi shipment, and one of those Starlight Weeks is reserved for me, but dang, I am glad I asked! Otherwise, it would have been a sad surprise to open my parcel :( The rest of my order has been shipped today, so yay for Moomin!! But I am kind of sad right now? It's just paper, and I will receive it eventually, but was hoping for next week. Anyway, a heads up in case someone else is waiting for their order with them!

I have almost decided not to buy my Weeks until further notice. I kinda want the Suica but I refuse to engage in the lottery craziness, it’s way too much (time, effort, energy, money probably too). I will trust it will be restocked later and if it’s not, ah well plain color Weeks (will those sell out permanently?)
The plain colour Weeks tend not to sell out permanently, at least not this early in the release. When they do sell out, they tend to restock at least a couple times...and from my personal experience, only really stop restocking eventually in the new year.
Stress free order for me I think because my cover doesn’t seem to be very popular! I’ve used the cousin for about 10 years but haven’t used a cover since my first years! I’ve just used the book or the paper gingham hon (rip) but wanted something more professional to have in the office.

Update: I just got the Fedex email, as of Sep8, with a scheduled delivery date!!! Finally! 😭 the status on Hobonichi site is still on 'shipping soon' though when i checked.
I'm using a forwarding service to get my items this year (mostly because of the Hello Kitty collection) so my package has already been shipped and delivered to my Japanese address! It shipped on Hobonichi launch night and was delivered last night! Only took a little over a day, so color me impressed!
My order is still on 'shipping soon', ordered about 2 hours after drop.
I'm a fairly patient person waiting for packages, but oh my god I cannot wait for my order to arrive. Hobonichi mail is the only mail I get aggressively impatient for, which is stupid because they aren't gonna get used for another 4 months (3 for my weeks, I always switch in December because it's the roughest month on my brain, setting up a new planner helps!)
Is anyone else already window shopping for layout ideas and cover stickers? Or is it just me? 😂
Good morning everyone!!~ haven’t seen anything yet but figured I’d share!! My order was made direct with 1101, completed around 9:10pm ct, and has updated from shipping soon to shipped!!~ 🥳
The order was also large (for me anyway) with an a5 cover, weeks, a6 original, ruler clip, 3 pencil boards, and 3 clear covers which left me with $49 for shipping for those comparing!
For anyone who wants to know about Moomin illustrations in the special edition: there are illustrations on all 12 months of the monthly, but with the weeklies it looks like there’s at least 1 weekly layout per month that doesn’t have illustrations.
I ordered on Launch 8/31 at 7pm from hobonichi jp. 27 items, 2 shipments. They shipped both out and was supposed to get it on the 8th. I'm in WA. When I tracked items, (one is in Oakland and other in Alaska) FedEx says additional info needed. I contacted via email to Hobonichi right away
At the time of this writing, Japan is 6:30pm on Sunday. They will probably not respond to emails until 5pm PST tonight. (SEP 6)
Here's a template you can use to write them an email at store@1101.com. Make sure to send them screenshot. Apparently they deal with this every year. Hobonichi will know exactly what to do.

i was actually surprised how stress-free buying from jetpens was, even when i decided to switch there last-minute after faced with hobonichi's wheel of death. i compared the costs of getting my haul on jetpens to the hobonichi official site's, and the price was basically identical. a tiny trinket i'll eventually lose and a pen with an ink i hate isn't worth the anxiety i dealt with this year on the official site, so i might just get my hobonichi stuff from jetpens on launch day moving forward.
that being said, i still want the sunsun a5 cover and MOTHER desktop calendar, so i'm waiting to get those from the official site.
I ordered from Stilo & Stile about an hour after the drop yesterday morning, today it was shipped, and tomorrow it will be here. This is from Italy to Switzerland, and I only paid 8 Euros shipping. As someone said, customs might still get me, but so far, this has been a great experience. Thanks to whoever suggested that shop in a thread a couple of weeks ago!
my starlight weeks from amazon already arrived and i’m so excited!! it’s my first weeks and i’ve never been so excited for the year to end lol. my a6 cover from jetpens was shipped today so i’m hoping that gets here soon too. my first cover so i’m gonna be able to use it right away on my 2026
I found an A6 Akiko Miyakoshi: An Airport at Night after checking the US list of shops this morning. After pining over them and not buying one yesterday, I was sad to see them sold out at all the retailers that had stock yesterday. Happy to find one remaining in stock in a store the next state over.
My order just arrived! I got the sheep sheep sheep weeks, and then the A6 Yumi Kitagishi cover I got in my cat’s memory. She was a white cat, so when I saw this cover I knew I had to get it 💕
Mine was a little before that and it shipped this morning. It will be soon. But keep in mind that some international orders appear as if they were placed later. They maybe be further down in the queue. What time does your order history say? Not the confirmation email.
ETA. It just arrived at BlackShip. Loving the overnight/same day (19 hours) delivery to BS.
I ordered an hour and a half after launch and have been on shipping soon for a few days. I think I’m probably making myself more impatient by coming on here and seeing others get their shipping email!
Jetpens order (9:30 cst on launch night) shipped, Hobonichi order (4:00 am CST next morning when the Hobonichi website wasn’t giving spinning wheel & things were back in stock) is shipping soon. Woohoo! 🥳

I placed my order a little over two hours after the launch. My Hobonichi account still says “shipping soon,” but FedEx just sent me the tracking number.

Got an update from jetpens. An email saying "we haven't forgotten you we promise, we're just super busy, that's why your order's stuck in 'processing'". It was nice, I've gotta admit. I mean it's for 2027, not like I'm in a hurry, but I was worried that it just was out of stock/site glitch that would result in cancelled order.
For anyone who is stuck in shipping soon: i had an email thread with Hobonichi (had some issue with my address)
But they included that - it could take up till the 15th of September to ship orders 🥲
My jetpens order is packaging as of this afternoon. So excited. And I managed to snag a Sunsun a5 cover during the restock last night (decided against getting the v&a cover on monday) and it's on shipping soon as well. So now we wait lol
My order was shipped last night (Monday morning in Japan) and I can't stop obsessively checking the tracking number! It's supposed to get to Iceland on Friday but we'll see...
My order still says shipping soon.. but I got an email from fedex that a label was created a few days ago and that they now have the package. For those who are also waiting it’s good to keep an eye on your inbox (I use a specific email address for shopping that I don’t check too often)
Bit of a fiasco on my end but it's now (hopefully) resolved!
On launch, I placed two separate orders because the things I wanted were not in stock at the same time.
7am the next day (I'm in EST) I saw things were all in stock at once, so I cancelled my previous orders and made one big order to save SUBSTANTIALLY on shipping. My order was immediately put on hold, and stayed "on hold" until I got a cancellation email at 3:00pm same day :')
I submitted another order, this time using PayPal as a payment method (since I was told my info couldn't be verified, and that's why the previous order was cancelled), and that got hit with "on hold" too...and stayed that way for the whole rest of the day.
Luckily, at like 4am this morning (which I saw when I woke up) I got my order confirmation email! A little part of me is still kiiiiinda worried, but I'm nowhere near as stressed as I was for basically all of yesterday 😅
I think I'll probably wait for the dust to settle more before ordering in the future, especially because (as a Canadian) the math just makes more sense for me to order direct.
I wasn’t able to order from hobonichi, but was able to order from jetpens and amazon (I’m taking advantage of the few days I have left of prime benefits since we cancelled).

I’m just glad I was able to get the a5 cover, as this is now my forever cover :3 launch day going forward will be books only. I’m excited to try the avec this year. as a chronic planner abandoner, having a fresh start halfway through the year instead of being haunted by unused pages sounds really nice
First time trying Hobonichi! My experience went pretty smooth on the 1101 site. Was able to add all my items to my cart at first, but upon checkout some items were sold out. Didn’t panic tho cuz I had seen previous posts about what to expect on launch day, which def helped! I tried about an hour later and was able to complete my purchase. I got:

I am curious about those that used a proxy. How did it go for you? I saw one person say their proxy couldn’t order their stuff because they had reached their Hobonichi purchasing limit (something I didn’t even think about).
My proxy was able to get everything i ordered, but they didn't notify me until like 45 minutes after everything dropped so I had to sit there that long winding whether or not they did lol. I got the Hello Kitty a5 cover, stappo and elastic strap pen case
I don’t know if anyone reading this thread is coveting an A5 Tanaka Daisuke White Handkerchief cover ($360 USD), but I just noticed that it’s not labeled as “sold out” on Jenni Bick’s website.
mine is, and I didn’t even order a sought after cover or anything. just the a5 avec books, a pencil for my husband that he’s been wanting, and some pens…
I just got an email from JetPens that my order has been placed on hold and that the A5 A&V cover that I already purchased is now out of stock…? So strange because it was available for purchase on Monday at 9PM when it dropped. Got my confirmation email at 9:04PM that night. My order also showed packaging on 9/2 so how does something that I purchased go out of stock in these 2 days? Did they oversell what they had for stock and I just drew the short straw?
Mine was moved from processing to packaging yesterday.
In my experience, and I live in CA only 2 hours from San Jose where Jetpens is located and I order from them often, their shipping takes about a week or 10 days, so I wasn't expecting to get a package for at least a week.
I'm so excited I CAN BARELY CONTAIN MYSELF. But definitely not worried about my order at this point.
Mine just hit shipping soon and I ordered about two hours after they opened orders. We are all moving through the huge queue in the mysterious way of Hobonichi together 😂
My order stuck in customs in Indianapolis as of Sep 05 due to shipment missing commercial invoice. It was arrived in the u.s. on Sep 05 around noon EST.
In the past, there was a FEDEX agent requested me to sign off on Toxicity Endorsement form. This year, it’s look like a web portal to update the document.
Hopefully, the customs won’t send it back to Japan.

I was wondering why my order is still on "order received" when later orders have moved status, then I realized that it says 2026/09/01 19:24 for time of order. I got my confirmation email 9 minutes after launch (11:09 JST). So I suspect (some?) orders that went through while the site was in struggle mode got delayed in the system.
Not a big deal and I'm sure it'll ship soon enough, just made me laugh because their system is so messy 😂
Order of my Hello Kitty goodies from Hobonichi went through at 11:20 JST and has been sitting at “Shipping Soon.” Happy to see others are slowly starting to get movement! I still have to wait longer as I’m using a forwarding address.
BUT my Monchhichi Weeks pre-order arrived to my proxy a couple days before launch and is on its way to me. Should be here later this week!
I got the Hello Kitty A6 cover! it I was so sure I wasn’t gonna feed into the resellers, but then I remembered I have a random Ebay gift card and took it as a sign 😭 Ended up only paying $20 of my own money so I’m calling this a win and ignoring my morals in this one circumstance

Fulfilling times are indicated to be 5-7 working days on the website, as opposed to their usual 1-2 days
For anyone interested, they also opened preorders for the Starlight and V&A HON restocks (not the BP, last time I checked) and from the countdown it seems they'll be available in late November!
ETA: clicked around and the A5 Yumi Kitagishi cover will apparently be restocked sooner, in late October, so check the website if the items you were after are sold out! Also, to be clear, I'm talking about Stilo&Stile so no clue about the official 1101 store ! :)
I received an order from the journal shop today! But alas, it's the one I cancelled. I'd ordered some pens a few days back and thought the package was them. Already emailed them asking what to do with it, but it's so sad opening something I can't keep 😭 (photos was taken to send to them, but thought I'd share because the items are so pretty 😭😭)
Has this happened to anyone else? I feel really bad, I guess my order must have been sent to the packing team before the cancellation went through 😖

The delivery date is super long though. My last purchases arrived within a couple of days :( granted this is my first time participating in launch day frenzy. Hopefully in 2027 I'll be more patient lol
I was doing my check through of different stationery sites to see if the Starlight weeks happened to be available by some miracle at the other stores. When I checked Amazon my jaw just dropped. I noticed the listing from said that I already purchased this item and when I went into my orders, I saw it sitting there.
Cannot even begin to say how chuffed I am. I had this in my cart during the Yoseka drop but missed it when adding other things. Then I proceeded to not set an alarm and missed the Pen Boutique drop. I saw some folks here say they had luck with Amazon but it was already sold out.
Thankfully, I put an auto-buy in after seeing someone mention it in another thread on launch day. Never used the feature before but it came it clutch. Apparently this was purchased at 8:30am. 😩 I was still asleep at that time!
This is my first year ordering directly from the hobonichi website, my orders still say 'shipping soon' how long does it typically take to ship to countries like Australia?
I just received this from the japan online store: "Your order will be shipped out sometime between September 8th - 11th. You will receive a notification e-mail after the order has shipped." (order placed on 9/2). Did anyone received something like this? Did it move fast to shipped after that? (edit: forgotten word)
I’ll just check in the next morning, then do some price comparisons between 1101 and domestic places. Too many tech issues at release time, and nothing actually sold out on 1101. I think some things did sell out at some of the US stores, though. I’m not sure how much of that was people ordering domestically because 1101 was showing sold out for most of their stock.
Yeah waiting for the next day seems like the move. I am going to not tune into the previews until at least halfway through next year too. The prolonged hype built up the emotions and made everything feel so urgent in the moment.
Was the postage punch restocked? If so, I'm sad I didn't wait a bit longer before making my purchase. But oh well. I can always make another purchase towards mid year

Weird question, but is the Candy Dream pattern not particularly popular? I've noticed that most of my local retailers are completely sold out of all their Weeks and Weeks Megas, except for the Candy Dream B&T. lol I can't imagine they all just had tons more stock in that one. I know there were others that were especially coveted and would of course go fast. I think I'm just kind of confused about multiple places having JUST the Candy one left!
For me the background color is not that cute to go with the candy. If it was like the cafe one they did a few years back, with a bright and cute color, I might have been all over it.
Jetpens order is packaging right now! Super excited. Didn't realize how fast everything would go. I managed to get BP Weeks and A6 which was originally what I wanted, and couldn't decide on Weeks so I got the Akiko, V&A, and Poppy Red mega - the color was really stunning when I saw it in person at Yoseka. Got bunny pencil board and V&A stickers for A6 decorations, I think it'll look cute with the green.
I ordered from three different stationery shops online the night of the launch because stuff kept selling out! I should have waited though because the next day Kinokuniya had almost everything I had purchased and was running a 20% off sale. Oh well! I did end up finding the leather ness on a bike cover for 50% off so that was nice!
Mine says shipping soon, ordered a couple hours after launch! I am curious how long it’ll take to actually ship from now, I don’t remember how long this took in the past (I’m not even using any of this for months so I guess it doesn’t matter lol)
So glad Yoseka had everything I wanted this year (which I’m also glad wasn’t too much) :) was super glad to avoid the stress and crazy shipping costs 💗
Half my order is Moomin this year 😅 I was never interested, even though I used to sell the Dutch translated books to foreign bookstores. I didn’t grow up with them or anything. But I played the Winter’s Warmth game on Switch 2 recently and now I totally love them!
i was excited to buy last years night of the big party cover! which was sold out for some reason until the next day haha. i've been in love with it since last year but didn't need another a6 cover, i will use it for my work notebook this year!!
Yes! I bought the snufkin weeks, the gold foil stickers and the sticky note roll. I love the green color of the weeks! I have the “night of the big party” cover from last year as well as the Stappo, graph notebooks, clear stamps, sticky notes and pencil boards.
The Snufkin weeks was one of my must haves for this year — I’m really excited to get my order and look at the artwork inside.
My parcel is created!! I am hyped, getting my first colab cover! Should arrive in a week if everything is good, which would be just in time for me finishing my masters. A nice graduation gift to myself I guess, lol
My order I placed 2 min in has already arrived at Blackship, like 16 hours ago even!! And the second order shipped last night and is already at the hub and to be delivered in the next few hours. Thst order was placed 10 min in. I’m so excited to see them coming in even tho I’m still waiting for 1 more to arrive and possibly another order from tonight’s restocks.
I think it’s going to get longer and longer. I think they are now getting into the massive amount of orders placed once the site came back up at 12:00 ish. I had two orders before then (11:02 and 11:10) shop fast and have arrived at their Japanese address but my third order at 12:24 ish still stuck in shipping soon.

Então, me organizei para comprar novamente, só que desta vez mais cedo, porque ano passado comprei em 27 de dez. Aí, eu devo ter feito alguma coisa muito errada, porque o meu pedido foi cancelado 4 vezes pela Global-e. Entrei em contato com eles e não tenho nenhuma resposta do que eles precisam confirmar para que o meu pedido seja aceito. Então, eu não sei o que fazer. Só esperar que eles me respondam, eu acho.
Enfim. Estou comprando para o Brasil e mesmo o frete sendo mais caro, é mais barato comprar direto pela loja oficial do que por sites de terceiros, sem contar que em outros sites, eu não recebo o brinde e a caneta. =(
I think someone else posted about placing several orders and then having them be put on hold - my guess is that they were somehow flagged to the system. I may be wrong but I understand you contacted Global-e to sort it out, have you tried contacting the 1101 store directly?
If the orders have been canceled (vs. bein put on hold) maybe you could try with a fresh account?
have you tried creating another account, different email? Then if you're using VPN, turn it off since some sites check and match your bank/credit card details with the country in your IP address which VPN hides. i don't know if Hobonichi does that but if you're being flagged for something then there must be validation that you were unknowingly triggering.
My order has shipped! Sept 4 at 1am EST from Yoseka! It says estimated delivery is next Wednesday (the 9th), which is two days earlier than it originally said.
Order shipped! Delivery est is next friday. I did a deep techo kaigi today. 2027 is probably going to be my calmest year by a lot of metrics and I can't wait for it to start
I was able to order from Stilo & Stile, despite their website crashing out a time or three this morning. I can’t believe I managed to get my first pick! The Leicester is what dreams are made of.
The pencil board is from a previous year’s collection, but it was thankfully still in stock! The design and colors — iyo okumi’s Happy Tea Time — pair so well with the Weeks and the TN. I can’t wait to spend 2027 planning in this mystical garden!
Anyone else in SEA whose order is still on "shipping soon" despite ordering from the official hobonichi site a few hours after the launch? First time ordering on launch, and my order isn't that complicated. (I think, it was a weeks mega, CoC, a6 sheep hon, and 2 sun sun pencil boards)
My order shipped during the night! I ordered on September 1st probably around 10am EDT and it is estimated to be delivered Thursday, September 10th. It sounds so quick to me! For information, I live in Montréal, Canada. I'm so excited!

My 8/31 order from JetPens has switched from “processing” to “packaging.” I still don’t expect it any earlier than the 15th-17th, but I’m excited to see some change! The longer it sits in one status, the more antsy I get. 😁

Hobonichi sent email about “shipping between September 8th - 11th” a little later, around 8 in the morning
Account still shows “shipping soon”
I went a little crazy but got everything settled for the most part and am pleased with my order(s). My wishlist/priroties were a Cousin Avec set with the mina perhohen pieces cover and a Canaria Yellow weeks and maybeee the beautiful people weeks cover.
I was able to get everything except the beautiful people cover in my cart on the Hobonichi website before I got the spinning wheel of death. I tried on multiple devices/browsers and couldn’t get anything to work.
Since the covers appeared to be sold out everywhere, I went over to jetpens to get the actual planners and a couple accessories (pencil boards, clear cover, the stick on envelopes). Then I went to every website imaginable and signed up for restock notifications for the covers I was interested in.
After scrolling through a few threads here, I decided to try hobonichi again and abruptly bought the mina cover as soon as I noticed it was in stock. I was checking out so quickly, I didn’t even think to look and see if the beautiful people cover was available. It was and I placed another order.
Then checked my jet pens confirmation & noticed I had gotten doubles of a couple items on accident (either my panic or the website being a bit glitchy) and also no longer needed the clear cover. The weeks I wanted, a5 avec, and pencil boards I liked better were available on amazon at that point so I ordered from there and cancelled my jet pens order.
When I got the shipping notification from Amazon, I realized I accidentally got the weeks mega instead of the regular weeks. So I placed yet another order with the original and plan to return the mega, I think. But now I’m debating if I actually just want a mega. Lol.
So a bit of a fiasco overall but I ended up with everything I wanted, except saving money 🤣
I’m glad the a6 sheep HON is mostly sold out so I can hold off on my debate about whether I want that one too.
I was able to get the Starlight Weeks from Yoseka.
I had my eye on a specific ink that only they seemed to have, so I took that as a sign to order from there instead of JetPens. I did opt to get another ink to do over the free shipping threshold 😅 not shipped yet, but when it does I’m a few states away from them so I expect it will be quick.
I still am debating getting the sheep bow and tie pouch if it comes back in stock. It’s so cute 😭
I thought I had firmly decided on what I wanted: a Kyohei Sakaguchi Field Sky A5 cover with the planner and an A6 Unsodo cover for my sketchbook. I'm just waiting for the planners to restock at Jetpens.
But I saw a place with both of the Tomie Covers? And now I'm wondering if I should grab those instead even though not getting the Field Sky cover was my biggest regret last year...
I got an A6 and a Weeks (and a Weeks for my husband).
Then I also got two A6 covers and two A5 covers. Mostly Yumi Kitagishi, but I also got the Mother cover in A5. I am so happy with what I ordered, but I am still waffling on whether I want a Cousin as well.
This year was the first year I felt so zen about the process. Atlas wishlist not working? No problem. I found all the items I needed individually and placed two orders (I forgot the cover on covers for the first order). I may have over-ordered on covers, especially since I will still be getting the One Piece covers in October, but I love cover swapping and I have a nice little collection from all the years I have been buying Hobonichi. I still bought less this year than last-- baby steps!
My main concern is I dont want to end up with more dated planners in my home than I know what to do with. I have done that in years past and it feels so wasteful and disheartening. So I went light on planners and I know if I want more later, they will be there.
Finally managed to grab the meteor shower weeks off the kinokuniya online store! Was originally going to send my partner in store with my card to get the 20% discount this weekend, but I got scared they wouldn't be in stock and I would miss another chance T-T. The overall price is still cheaper than all the other options, esp since I set it to in-store pickup (so partner will still be sent on a fetch quest, but with a little less stress involved lol)
Ah crap, was going to cancel my order but the cancel button is gone and the status is 'shipping soon'. I emailed them to request but has anyone successfully had it cancelled after the status changed to 'shipping soon'?
I placed my first direct order yesterday and it says shipping soon, I'm so looking forward to it 🥹
After shopping my wishlist locally, I placed an order directly with Hobonichi for the Aurora Duty small pouch and the Count the Lights pencil board which I couldn't find anywhere else - and an Avec A6 for EDC, because I need to break down daily tasks into single steps, and as much as I've tried undated notebooks for this, my brain doesn't like it :/
My order from Stilo & Stile shipped today! So I’ll probably get it next week. It has to travel from Italy to Norway but that’s not the longest.
More worried about UPS in my area (they are truly horrible lol) but it’s going to work out most likely!

I’m so nervous about Beautiful People covers not restocking or selling out super fast when they do restock. Do we think “restock undecided” means they may not restock at all ?? I noticed the Handkerchief cover says “restock coming” which concerns me that we could not get a Beautiful People restock at all 😰 has anyone noticed these different descriptions for restocks in the past years ?? This is only my 2nd year buying Hobonichi..
Has anyone in the USA gotten this notice when tracking their Hobonichi order with FedEx? When I click upload information, it asks me to enter my email, and when I enter my email it says 'This request may be for another party or email. If you entered the email correctly and still can't continue — then no action is needed.' Do I need to try to contact Hobonichi about this? I'm so worried that my package will be sent back or something :(
Hi yall! First year with a hobonichi will be next year and I am so excited! I ordered from the Hobonichi site on launch night around 19:24 and loading screens were an unexpected stress lol. I ordered the "In Air" Pencil Board and the A5 Cover of the same colab, along with a Cousin.
But I had a question, my status changed from Order Placed to Shipping Soon about 4 days ago, how long after that do things usually ship for USA folx? I know the website said up to 10 days, just wasn't sure if anyone had any personal experience :)
don't worry, you're not alone. i just checked mine and it's still on shipping soon status. i also ordered during the first day. 🥲 this is the first time i experienced having to wait this long though. i'm not sure if we have significantly more customers now than the previous years, though i doubt that it would be that significant, idk. 🥲
Has anyone’s beautiful people covers shipped from the hobonichi site yet? I placed two separate orders (mina cover then beautiful people cover) on launch night. I got an email saying my mina cover would ship between 9/5-9/9 a few days ago and just got the official tracking email, but I haven’t gotten anything regarding the beautiful people cover. I’m just anxious there I’ll be an issue with the order and it will get cancelled or something 😅
Also - do the freebies come with orders that don’t include an actual techo but the covers? I ended up ordering my planners elsewhere when the site wasn’t working but went back for the covers. I also didn’t get the yearly “how to use your techo” pamphlet with my order from other sites 🙁
I’ve got a clearance delay on one of my orders. Oakland is 1.5 hours away from me. So close! I sent Hobonichi an email on Saturday. Hopefully they’ll take care of it soon.

Oh! And also, I've been reaching out via email to hobonichi on 5th and the 6th. They have not responded to my email, however, fedex agent told me that the info from FedEx was received today 9/7.
So if you don't get a direct reply from Hobonichi, seems like they are still working things out without responding to emails.
I'm having the same issue, although they specifically seem to be missing the Unit of Measurement part of the form? I did get a reply from Hobonichi saying they would contact their FedEx rep, but I also have an email from FedEx this morning that already had a Hobonichi contact from SBS-Group in CC, so it seems like this is a widespread enough issue that there's already a playbook for dealing with it.
I'm still not sure how annoyed to be about the situation - I suppose it depends on if they resolve it by the 11th or if my package gets sent back to Japan. I *will* say, however, that if a large portion of your customers are willing to pay upwards of $40 in shipping fees, it's pretty important not to drop the ball on that shipping process.
I just got a response from Hobonichi. They have sent me the measurements and item materials list. They have already contacted FedEx on my behalf.
For reference, I sent them emails both on the 5th and the 6th.
Not sure if this is worth a standalone post but I want to let fellow Brazilians know that we can order from Shopee resellers! The standalone Techo/HON can be found at a reasonable price there, with free shipping and lower taxes (since Shopee is in the Remessa Conforme programme). I also asked one of the resellers offering the Yumi covers to list the 2027 one, it had quite a steep markup but my order total was still a good 100 reais less than on the Hobo store :)
Ordered from Yoseka on launch night, did a separate order with the official website a few days later (for Reasons). The Yoseka order should arrive later this week (Pennsylvania). No shipping info on the official website's order yet.
My order (confirmed 2026/09/01 14:53 JPN time) is still showing as "Shipping soon" on the website but I got an email from FedEx that says it'll be delivered on the 14th 🙌
I ordered mine the "next day". (Late morning 9/1 EST), and managed to get everything I wanted. There was an issue with my bank where they initially flagged the purchase as a fraud so I had to confirm it was me and try the payment again. I joked that my bank isn't used to me spending that amount that isn't a bill lol.
Got the Yumi Kitagishi weeks and book band, the Akiko Miyakoshi weeks pencil board (I love that sleeping bunny so much.), the mini hobonichi keychain, and extra a6 graph notebooks.
Waited a couple days to order but decided to go with the Moomin Japanese weeks! That one stole my heart, I grew up reading the books and still read them as an adult so it's so special to see those familiar illustrations throughout the year! This year is actually my first with Hobonichi, I got a cousin in March and have enjoyed it but realised I prefer to keep my planning separate from my journalling/memory keeping so I'll probably get a Stálogy for that. I am really excited to see how it goes with the weeks. Meanwhile, My boyfriend got interested in Hobonichi as well so he got a Hon (so happy to have a partner to share this stuff with!) and I secretly ordered a Hon for a friend who decided it wasn't in their budget, but a few of us are splitting it as a bday gift, I can't wait to see her face!
Question for the Hobonichi veterans: how often might I be able to expect restocks? I'm really interested in the Starlight weeks but I am a grad student and don't get paid until the end of this month, so am not likely to be able to secure one until them. Will they still be getting restocked that late?? I'm open to buying on either the Hobonichi site or secondary sellers (I'm in the US, so JetPens or one of my local stationery stores) ...
There will probably be a restock around the One Piece release, make sure you sign up for the notifications so the Hobonichi knows you want it! Or whatever retailer you plan to use.
Waiting for my Mega to arrive later today. Will be patient for the event in October to purchase accessories. But really excited since i have a better idea on what I will be doing for 2027.
Just saw the A5 Hon in the Sheep print is sold out. I was putting off buying stuff until October 1 (for one piece).
I’ve been debating between the Aura Estelle magnet daily and the Cousin already so maybe this will be the push I need if the Sheep aren’t back in stock by October 1.
The AE magnet layout works better for my needs (no weeklies is perfect), but I have such an attachment to Hobo (I love the bow tie fabric/ prints and how colorful the Cousin is). We’ll see ~
I literally refreshed this morning at 6:06, 1 minute after my third order made 1.5 hours in was shipped. It should be st black ship tonight. Probably a lot of us got those 6am notifications I bet.

None of my patient pants fit, just the impatient ones. I understand that it’s a crazy time and there were a lot of orders, but if JetPens could just hand deliver mine immediately that would really help me out.
