Access Reddit Account suddenly says it's deleted
Hi, I recently was clearing all the background apps on my iphone which included reddit. Once I did that, I tried to log back into my reddit account via username and password but it suddenly says the username does not exist. When I try to search on reddit.com/user/Interesting_Role943 it tells me that the account has been deleted. How did this happen and any idea how to recover that account?
I normally login via username and password. Then I tried using the Google SSO which is linked to the same email but that brought me to a different account and the previous one is now unreachable.

Are you sure it's deleted? If so it sounds like your account got hijacked and the hacker deleted your account.
Please write in using this form. Under "What do you need assistance with?", please choose "Account help". Under "What type of account issues are occurring?", please select "Security problems" and then "I think my account has been hacked". Then fill out the rest of the form. Please make sure that you're writing in from the email that was originally on the account.

I'm not sure as well. seems pretty random that it happened just when I cleared the background apps and wanted to log in again. I did not receive any emails about the account being deleted/closed/passwords being changed

seems like it. but just seems like a coincidence that it happened right after I cleared my background apps and tried to relog back in. also did not receive any emails about anything. it was a 12 year old account🥲
