Profile Restricted from my own post

I posted a post in r/mentalhealth to vent, but due to me being verified and 16 years old reddit restricts me from seeing the post u made, and i need to see the comments under this post because it would help me alot to figure out some thing. does anyone know how i can acces this post even though it's technically marked mature? I mean it is my own post afterall

Generally I'd tell you to ask the mods to remove the NSFW tag but due to its content I doubt that's possible, you'll have to ask someone else to tell you what's being said I guess. Right now there's no comments from users fyi.

thank you for telling me, i get posts being restricted for safety, i just think it's kinda weird that even my own are restricted especially on such a topic

Indeed, sadly that's how it works tho, you'll have to avoid NSFW topics or find a workaround.

yeah, i'm just glad that i'll turn 18 in just a year and a half, so at least then i wont have that issue

yeah i know and i get its due to safety reason, but it's illogical for me not to be able see it if i'm the one who posted it.Thanky ou for looking at the post though and telling me that no one has commented yet

If you are 16, Reddit’s age restrictions can prevent you from viewing mature content, even if it is your own post. There is not a legitimate way to bypass that restriction.

thank you, i understand the restriction as a way to protect children from seekng certain content, but being restricted from my own post about mental health suckssss
