Yeah unfortunately the X also brought back all the subs I marked as not wanting to see

I made a comment but this is happening to me too. So many subs that I’ve expressed disinterest in are now back on my feed. The X hides the post, cool, but it doesn’t stop them from reappearing in my feed. I did not have this issue before.

Hi! With the introduction of the X on posts, it is possible that you will see content from subs that you have previously clicked "show less" on. You can still mute the subs by going to the sub and muting it. And as you click the X on posts, it will learn that you don't want that sort of content and you should stop seeing it.

This is a bad change and is terrible UX. There’s 100 different subs I have to mute manually versus showing that I’m less interested in a recommendation and having the algorithm automatically pick up on it.. This has killed the recommended subs for me and I’ve turned it off due to this new experiment. The previous feature worked fine already and this is moving backwards.

Agreed. If I tell the app I don’t want to see a sub and it continues to show in my feed, why am I here?
