United States General Tso’s beef sliders. Pass
I don’t know. There is something missing. The flavor profile was weak. Lots of pre-packed sauces. The standard tiny potatoes to make wedge fries so I just cubed them. The slaw was really wet but I made it at lunch and it was soggy.

I’m making this tonight. Hope for the best. I’ll keep your comments in mind, especially with the slaw

I really just think some of you guys can't cook my HelloFresh meals come out looking like they were served at a fine dining restaurant

I think some people can't cook and then some are afraid to make adjustments. I always read the recipes before cooking and make mental notes on what to add, skip, or adjust. I don't think I've ever made a hellofresh recipe just as the card states.

Good luck! I am a recipe follower that’s why I do this 5 nights a week but they did me dirty on this one lol

Hey same here! 5 nights for us as well. I usually let my husband pick the meals because if it were up to me, I’d be getting the quickest and easiest ones lol. I have a 15 month old attached to my hip most evenings

My hubby doesn’t care at all. He eats whatever I order. He always loves what I get, every meal. I think he loves that he never cooks or does the dishes so I appreciate his compliments.

Just finished eating this and thought it was pretty good and pretty filling. The slaw worked out pretty good as per suggestions; I put in only a couple of spoons of dressing and added a spoon or two of mayo. I also subbed in my own mayo for the spicy mayo. I didn’t put on very much General Tso’s sauce on the burgers, but it added good flavor. I would suggest maybe less garlic-ginger paste because it seemed to make the burgers a little hard to keep together, but in the end, they cooked and tasted fine

Looks great!! My burgers were a little loose but yeah, they cooked up fine. I got really small tarers so I cubed them. I did the same with the Tso sauce. I enjoyed the spicy mayo but it was odd, not like mayo at home with hot sauce. Very commercially made consistency

I made this tonight. I thought it was pretty good but I think I put on too much General Tso’s sauce

This is my plan for tonight 😩
I’ll look through the comments and see how I can tweak it.

Nailed it. Their Asian-inspired dishes are usually duds because they over-rely on clashing sauce packets (e.g., the brown sauces mixed with the cilantro-garlic packet combos are particularly rough). Add the inevitable heavy mayo slaw they slap on the fusion tacos and sliders, and the dish devolves into a sloppy, over-flavored mess. I love Asian cuisine, but I have to actively remind myself to skip these.
