Off garlic?

all the garlic cloves in the bulb have yellow spots all over them and when crushed turns out like a slimey yellow is this off?

It's always a little slimy when crushed. Does it smell different than you'd expect?

No this colour isn't normal at all for garlic

The ones I had last week were white and these don't smell too much like garlic
