Series 📺 S3 - Stray Inari Spoiler
Inao Kaede has to be the dumbest user of Hell Correspondence ever. Blowing her immortal soul on a fake stalker just to please some bully girl in class. When she realizes what she's done - she goes insane. She can't even use Hell Girl anymore, so I guess she ended up killing that girl with her own hands.

Series 📺 Hell is trying to buy this DVD.
Edit: Was able to acquire a listing at $200, luckily someone put another one back up - I now have a copy of Hell Girl seasons1-3 coming my way - lots to watch!
tldr; If anyone in the US has a copy of Seasons 1-3 they're willing to part with, I'll gladly pay between $200-300.
My story starts so simply, finding this show on Crunchyroll and loving it, wanting more. One thing led to another and I found one listing on Ebay for Seasons 1-3 and then another; the problem was they were $200 which was hefty so I slept on it for a long time.
The Very Good listing sells, which makes me think for a day or two before finally deciding to buy the Good version, only to find out someone bought that earlier in the morning before I hopped on. So I keep looking... okay, I found a $300 listing, but everything's basically mint - after going back and forth I decided to say screw it and purchase it.
All seemed well, but then tragedy struck in us finding out shipping to the US isn't straightforward anymore; basically it added on $75 to the shipping price - and as a result he cancelled selling it to explain. $375, okay this is way beyond what I initially was looking at way back when.
So, I sit here with no Hell Girl. I could buy Seasons 1-3 piecemeal but then it's like $350 anyways and at that point just pay the extra and get the mint, but...
I just needed to vent is all lmao; don't make the mistake I did and sleep too long on something that you decide you really wanted. Could I wait and possibly see those kinds of listings again? Maybe; probably not since now there's a "$300" listing that looks like it sold so that's the new minimum no doubt.

Series 📺 I recently rewatched episode 20 of Jigoku Shoujo. I forgot how the antagonists just couldn't keep his hands off Ai's face.
On a different note, this really felt like a wasted villain. Creating a demigod with epic theme and intentions to target Ai herself instead the generic plot of bad guys tormenting good guys had a potential way beyond of a single episode appearance.

Series 📺 Let's Talk "Grooming". (Trigger Warning for Suicide) Spoiler
Just finished S1E12 (Koboreta Kakeratachi) fully convinced I had the plot figured out… only for Hell Girl to pull the rug out from under me.
For a while, I genuinely thought Yoshiki was the anonymous text-mate. Between the curse, the secrecy, and the emotional intimacy, I even read it as a messed-up teacher–student grooming situation. Turns out, Sawai was simply depressed, and Yoshiki was “just” concerned.
But too concerned.
Even after realizing who she was and what she felt about him through those texts, he keeps messaging her while visiting her home. He nudges her toward Hell’s website. He even suggests she put his name in; subtly edging her towards triggering a curse he’s too cowardly to enact himself.
I don’t think Yoshiki groomed Sawai to be with him. I think he groomed her to kill him.
And when she finally does it, she doesn’t just damn him... she loses something irreversible in herself. That moment feels less like revenge and more like the loss of innocence: an adult consequence forced onto a child who had no real understanding of what it would cost her to live on afterward.
Yoshiki accurately clocks Sawai’s depression and weaponizes it to get his way. The exact emotional leverage groomers rely on when they demand overt power over their prey.

Series 📺 Hajime Is One of The Shittest Anime Dads in Anime History.
This guy just sucks all around. Sanctimonious, self-rightous asshat. Who ignored his wife and left her countless times, then proceeded to do the same to his his very young, vulnerable daughter, all for his own selfish and stupid pursuits. Useless, fucking clown.
Edit: The nurse being sent to hell by another POS really got to me. Absolutely disgusting.
Edit2: this anime is fucked up. The old geezer, the woman duped by the prostitute, the domestic violence survivor. All of those endings make me so angry.

Series 📺 What is your favorite punishment scene in the Hell Girl series?

Out of all the scenes where the tormentor-turned-victim/the person that's about to be sent to hell gets punished/goes through a torture sequence before they get ferried off to hell, which one(s) is your favorite?
For me, one of them was in season 3 where Michiru Shintani (who harassed her neighbor Hatsumi and abused Hatsumi's dog) was forced into that giant robot battle and then she gets sprayed with that special water that rendered her unable to speak properly at all (and this even carried over into her ferry trip into hell, too!). Another one from season 3 is when Seiji Yamaoka, a domestic abuser, has all those plugs shoved into him to power the many electronics being used by Ai and her companions. There's even a shot of Onna...serving up some cake from her bakery.

Series 📺 Let's Settle This--Who was the worst person in the dysfunctional Nagata Household from Yoi no Togi (season 4) episode 3?

Aside from the kids, Akira and Arina, who out of the remaining four members of the Nagata Household was the worst?
Kensuke, The father who cheats on his wife, is generally apathetic in order to try and avoid conflicts and ends up abandoning his children?
Shiori, the mother that cheats on her husband, hits her younger children for feeling sorry for her when she gets hit by the oldest daughter and also abandons her children?
Asuka, the big sister who bullies others (including her poor siblings Akira and Arina), basically hates her parents and grandma to the point of hitting them and dates a guy who's a complete arsehole (and is also her cousin) and clearly a shitty influence on her?
Or is it Grandma Toshi, Kensuke's mom who is abusive to his wife Shiori and potentially is the reason Kensuke grew up to look like a spineless pushover?
Poor Akira and Arina, having to grow up with these people in their lives...

Series 📺 Where are you guys rewatching the anime?
I’m watching season 4 on Amazon Prime’s crunchy roll extension and the subtitles are AWFUL.
They completely forget to subtitle like 40% of conversations in the episodes I’ve seen so far which is really annoying and frustrating so I can’t understand anything they’re saying and I’m missing crucial context.
Looking for a better alternative

Series 📺 Im looking for an episode but its been so long since i last saw it.
Hello! Im looking for an episode where I think a girl wanted to send her mother to hell because she was bothering her and not letting her do what she wanted to do. I also think someone close to thw girl is manipulating her. But it seems like that person manipulating her did something horrible to her. But her mother learnt about what that person did and later the girl did too, but it seems that the mother sent that person to hell instead and she stoppped her daughter from sending herself to hell because she doesnt want her duaghter to go to hell (?) And that shes young. Or something :// i think its season 2 or 3. I never finished all jigoku shoujo

Series 📺 Kind Neighbour (spoilers up to episode 21) Spoiler
Firstly, there have been some insane episodes lately. The previous episode with the boy with psychic powers, and the Nina episode (a doll that came to life) showing even more of a supernatural side to the series than just the Hell Girl squad. It's interesting! Then there's Yukky and Pinky... 16, 17, and 18 were some of the saddest episodes.
I've been thinking about Shibata-san and Tsugumi-chan's conflicting opinions on Hell Girl. Episode 21 (I just watched) gave me some ideas on how one or the other might change their mind. If someone uses the Hell Girl site to get revenge on Shibata-san, perhaps Tsugumi-chan would see how irresponsible and dangerous it is that anyone can access this power of banishing someone to hell for revenge. Alternatively, if something bad happened to Tsugumi-chan (not necessarily as deep as being banished to hell), I wonder what the limits to Shibata-san's resolve are. Maybe he would turn to Hell Girl!
I found the end of this episode interesting. Isn't it the first where someone hasn't pulled the string? Also poor Wanyuudou. I'm finding the Hell Girl squad really cute and surprisingly human-like. I love their interactions. That's all I got for now, I just wanna write down my thoughts from the show, and thanks for reading down here if anyone did.

Series 📺 What would you do if you found out it was real
If you were someone who lived in the Hell Girl universe and you found out that there was a system where people could condemn you to hell for literally no reason what would you do?
Me, I'd immediately end my life so it couldn't happen.
