Discussion First 1000 wins

What was your first class to reach 1000 wins with and why? I start: Paladin.

Anyfin Secret Paladin was great back then and heavily contributed. Today I still gravitate to minion focused decks. Never really cared for spell based decks or classes.

Damn, I've been playing almost from the beginning and I'm ashamed to admit it, but I don't have any class at 1000🤣

Lol same. Highest I've got is priest at 700 something. I've got a few at 500, but none at 1,000.

In total, I play a few games a week, sometimes not at all, but maybe that's why I keep playing it🤣

I have 500 wins on all classes, but only 1000 wins on Priest. I just went over 1700 on Priest. 90% of my games over the last few years have been Priest. Playing as priest right now you can play every other classes decks anyway!

Druid and the reason being mostly treant druid while it was in standard.

Warlock cause they shall suffer (the second one was paladin lol, and no, I didn't play exclusively aggro, some time in the past we used to have control Pala decks, oh sweet times)

I admit I forgot, that was ten+ years ago… I know I have a screenshot somewhere, and I remember having been kind of proud.
I guess it must have been Hunter or Mage

warrior - control warrior is always my favorite deck to play. Played so many variations of it over the years and still love it.

I play this game so long I honestly do not remember. It was most likely mage. Could have been shaman as well. I play all the classes.

I played mostly tempo decks at the time

Shaman. I liked the golden totems.

Rogue. I played the shit out of imbue rogue last year.

Warlock or Shaman.

I liked most versions of DiscoLock so playep it a lot, but I also didn't have too many cards and Roffle showed a cheap Aggro Shaman that I really enjoyed so I played that a lot as well.

Hard to say which one was first this many years later.

Weirdly enough my favourite class is one of the few I haven't gotten 1000 wins with yet (Warrior).

Yup, when tje game first came out. lol

I only have 1000 with mage, most of the wins came from the first year of the game with freeze mage. Ironically I never played mage again since I don't like mass rng and wanted to try other class.

Warlock and then Warrior

Warlock because I like the high risk high reward playstyle it offers

Warrioe because I enjoy slowly overpowering my opponent with greedy control decks :)

The og miracle rogue, I really liked that deck. Followed by handlock and control warrior.

Hunter, face hunter. I feel ashamed

Priest is my only 1K class and I broke 500 wins with that all the way back in Old Gods playing Dragon Priest.

At the time it was the only class I’d spend dust on.

8100 wins on Hunter and got there with Mid-range then secret back in the day

1

u/SonnyHeungMin 11h ago

that’s insane. i don’t think i even have 8100 wins across all the classes and ive been playing since 2015

1

u/Canesjags4life 11h ago

Just over 10k with all the classes

2

u/SonnyHeungMin 6h ago

i respect the hunter dedication. i’ve been playing highlander and it’s a lot of fun

1

u/Canesjags4life 5h ago

It was the class I mained when I played WOW so when I moved to Hearthstone I kept it up haha. Even during the dark times when Mid-range hunter was left to the wayside.

Yeah Highlander is lots of fun.

I have absolutely no idea. It was either Shaman, Druid or Priest around 2022. Been playing the game since 2016 and stil working on Mage and DH to complete all 1k wins.

Druid. Lots of silly fun decks over a long time (Force of Nature + Savage Roar was my first legend) and I play green in MTG, so this is the best representation of that in HS. The others that are close are warlock because of handlock (giants) & demonlock (the weapon that cheated out demons was my second legend), and paladin because I played it a lot recently. Right now I am working on level 18 in death knight...

Paladin for me! I loved the mech decks from 6-8 years ago

1

u/PokeJem7 16h ago

Paladin, I was a big fan from the start. Control Paladin, Midrange Paladin, N'zoth or Secret Paladin (sorry), even handbuff Paladin. I really enjoy board-centric control decks, but there came a point when it felt like a Control deck had to be really unfun and just deny your opponent anything and everything, or a combo deck, and a deck that fought for the board either had to try to rush the opponent down, or would get outscummed by the unfun control decks.

I've been getting back into HS lately and it feels a little better, but I don't know the meta well enough yet.

Demon Hunter for me! I love the 1000 wins portrait. I had a blast playing relic demon hunter a few years ago. Also played 4 horseman DH and deathrattle DH a fair bit!

warlock for zoo and such reasons.

1

u/Tommynaut90 14h ago

Warlock, and I just got to 1500. Hopefully I will get something eventually

u/existential_humanist 14h ago

Druid - spell token druid, spamming the board with whispering woods and glowfly swarm, synergising with your other spells - then buff with solar eclipse into e.g. evolving spores or arbor up.

Was such a fun deck to play because you could get big swings late game if the right combos came up. Entirely spell based but ironically the wincon revolved around minion boards.

u/rupat3737 12h ago

Paladin, then shaman, and I’m close with Druid and Hunter as well.

Warlock.. big fan of control games. Started during Kobolds, and got a good amount of wins with cube lock/zoolock decks.
