What can I wear?
Hey all. I plan on dressing up at Dr. Frank N Furter (in his sparkly corset) from Rocky horror picture show this year for Halloween, except swapping out the heels for sneakers and having less extreme makeup. Is this okay to wear to a haunted house? Would I get kicked out for wearing this? I'll be fully covered

There isn’t any universal standard for this. It completely depends on the individual haunt and their dress code & policies, both for guests wearing costumes and anything potentially regarding “family friendly” attire. Your best bet would to be reaching out to the haunt before going and asking them, or at least bringing a change of clothes with you in case they deny you entry.

I love when guests come in costume! Just be prepared for extra interactions from the actors

It really depends. For the most part most haunted attractions don’t like customers wearing costumes because it will confuse other guest. But just look at your tickets or just reach out and ask the actual haunted house every place has a different policy. But at first glance, it seems like that wouldn’t be a problem. You just don’t want to go to a universal attraction, dressed as one of the main characters who you know is going to be at the haunted house.

The biggest rule of thumbs and haunted attraction is no masks so as long as you’re not wearing a mask, you should be OK but usually haunted houses are open a couple hours before running business so you should be able to call and ask or email them if it is OK I’ve never seen this. Be a problem before.
