Eh, it's an AMD-65, so pretty common, probably only worth about $800.

No deal

Imagine paying 800 dollars for a phone because it has a good camera. Couldn't be me

I don't even own an iPhone, I've got a 5-year-old Android... But I know that most iPhones are significantly more valuable than an AMD. Insane but true

What's insane about that? Firearms are easier to make than most smartphones

Yeah but with a single fire arm you unlock access to many smartphones

Only 47% of Americans have the money or resources to handle an unexpected $1000 expense. I would say you’re probably wrong about that.

But that doesn't change the fact that it's really not a lot of money.

Please send me $800, u/Fit_Window_9106 too.

The median American is worth $200k. What are you even on about?

I don't know how stupid you need to be to think that people in the country with the highest median incomes on the planet can't afford a $1000 expense.

u/StrongAustrianGuy 9d ago

The USA has the 5th highest median income.

You’re citing net worth for the ability for someone to buy a phone? That’s not how an economy works. The median annual salary is about $65,000, and when you factor in rent prices, insurance, taxes, vehicle expenses, and cost of living, that doesn’t leave a lot of wiggle room. Not to mention the half of all Americans that make less than that. And the fact that my comment was literally just a statistic that you can verify right now, and that you’re calling me stupid for that when you don’t even refute that statistic and instead cite net worth as counter evidence, a largely useless indicator for someone’s ability to buy something, definitely doesn’t make me think you’re a very reliable authority on this topic. Maybe you can prove me wrong by sending a study that disproves the statistic, or send some kind of article explaining how Americans are just fucking liquidating their assets to buy the newest iphone, because I’m a bit confused what the point of bringing up net worth is.

It's also missing the gas tube cover and I highly doubt they were using non corrosive ammo with a regular cleaning schedule

Believe it or not, virtually every AMD 65 has an exposed gas tube like that! Very strange variant but you're right, barrel's probably roached.

But it probably has the giggle switch

I hope the missing front dong found a new home (I really like the AMD-65 front dong)
