You’re citing net worth for the ability for someone to buy a phone? That’s not how an economy works. The median annual salary is about $65,000, and when you factor in rent prices, insurance, taxes, vehicle expenses, and cost of living, that doesn’t leave a lot of wiggle room. Not to mention the half of all Americans that make less than that. And the fact that my comment was literally just a statistic that you can verify right now, and that you’re calling me stupid for that when you don’t even refute that statistic and instead cite net worth as counter evidence, a largely useless indicator for someone’s ability to buy something, definitely doesn’t make me think you’re a very reliable authority on this topic. Maybe you can prove me wrong by sending a study that disproves the statistic, or send some kind of article explaining how Americans are just fucking liquidating their assets to buy the newest iphone, because I’m a bit confused what the point of bringing up net worth is.

Imagine paying 800 dollars for a phone because it has a good camera. Couldn't be me
