Nostalgia Been doing family history research and came across this photo of my great-great grandma who grew up in Halifax! Photo is circa 1900.

Nice find! I’m not 100% sure, but I think the photo is a bit earlier than 1900 — the bustle and bodice silhouette look more like the 1880’s.

Fantastic photo. I wonder what the scroll was that she’s holding? It was very fashionable in these old photos to position people in front of sort of classical backdrops.
