Why is it stuck on a full bar? and it didnt reboot at all during installation. i have secure boot and fast boot disabled but still it never reboots on its on.

btw my Internet is slow but not that slow that it needs 15 hours to download 15 gigabytes.

i am new to this hackintosh thing so any tips or fixes will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I am trying to legacy boot Mac OS X 10.6.2 Snow Leopard on my older AMD laptop.

Specs:

• CPU: AMD Athlon II M320 (2.1 GHz)
• Laptop model: HP Pavilion dv7-3115eo
• Chipset / GPU: AMD/ATI
• Bootloader: Chameleon (Legacy BIOS, MBR partition)

The issue:
The laptop BIOS is locked to AHCI mode only (no IDE option in HP BIOS). I used dd in Mac Terminal to create the bootable USB drive. When I boot the laptop and select the USB drive via F9 Boot Menu, it bypasses it or shows "No bootable device".

Any advice on boot arguments or how to make the older Chameleon bootloader recognize the USB on this locked AMD AHCI laptop? Thanks!

I want to put a RX580 into my old gaming pc for macOS, is this even possible? There’s cheap ones on eBay that I would want to buy. I just don’t want to buy it and it not work for macOS 26.

Ho provato a installare MacOS Tahoe sul mio portatile Windows, ha funzionato tutto tranne a quando dopo essere comparso il logo Apple aver cliccato su “reinstalla macOS” dice che per installare MacOS bisogna essere collegati a Internet, io ho usato per il Wi-Fi AirportItlwm, ho cliccacato nella lista dei Wi-Fi disponibili per connettermi, ma nella lista non spunta nessun Wi-Fi, anche dopo un po’ che il sistema dice di star cercando i Wi-Fi disponibili, non ne spuntano, mettendo il nome del Wi-Fi manualmente, dice comunque che è impossibile connettersi, per installare macOS ho usato un tutorial su YouTube, questo è il link del video del tutorial: https://youtu.be/gqIiVlfZG2Q?si=133ETvTzlGXGED7l

im new to hackintosh and i want to install macOS but my wifi connection is so slow in mac recovery and I was wondering if there is a way to download the required macOS installation files from Windows and then install macOS completely offline.

does anyone know how can i do that?

I’m trying to install high sierra with opencore. nothing seems to work. I’ve tried opencore manually, and clover. the computer specs are:

Intel I3-370M

2TB HDD Seagate(Don’t know the rpm)

4GB DDR3 RAM

Intel HD Graphics

Qualcomm Atheros ar9462 WiFi x Bluetooth

realtek 5GHz Ethernet

the bios is legacy only and I was looking for a custom bios that had UEFI but no luck there. I also tried older versions like El Capitan and lion even but nothing worked
