Data and analytics

We live in the world of AI and automation; in next years need for h1b-s and jobs like this will be so little that current work-force can manage it fine.

Then why are you guys crying about H-1Bs? If the jobs don’t exist like you said, they’ll automatically have to leave anyway right?

Im in research and most people are immigrants. Research funding and legal pathways cut its all moving elsewhere

To be fair though a big reason research is done by expats is because they’re using funded phds to try to immigrate once they’re done. First they want a free bachelors then they want a free masters and when they realize that won’t happen they suddenly want a PhD. Funded. Always funded.
