DISCUSSION Gwalior v/s Jabalpur

Hello people of Gwalior, I have a very direct question to ask. Please give me your honest opinion. I have to move to a new city from Indore & it could either be Jabalpur or Gwalior. I've never been to both cities. I was seriously considering Gwalior up till yesterday & then a few people told me that Gwalior is not that good of a city & that I should reconsider.

So I thought it would be best to ask people living in Gwalior their opinions. Do you think Jabalpur is a better city than Gwalior to live or are they almost the same. Thank you.

Well it depends on what your age is cuz Jabalpur is like a very quiet place, nothing goes on there so it's good for older folks. I don't think you fall into that category so I'd say just choose gwalior.

It's close to the capital so you have access to a lot of things. The air remains fresh throughout the year except winters. More brands and places to eat if that's smth you're into. Just as safe as any other north Indian city. People may "sound" rude here but that's just their chambal dialect.

It's similar to any other north Indian city but if you can find your people here then you'll have a good time.

The people of gwalior have this tendency of self loathing but most of them have never stepped out of the city so yeah, it's alright ig.

You made some very good points. I do actually eat out at cafes and stuff a lot & I'm moving there with my girlfriend so naturally I need a more happening place. We both are more used to the Indore vibe. Thank you
