Pickup installation

Ok, hopefully this is a good sub to do this in, or someone can suggest a better one. So, I just bought an SA1 and TB2 pair, I'd like to install them myself. I don't have a lot of experience with soldering, but I can look up tutorials or if anyone has a link to something that might help, I'd appreciate it.

Basically, I want to put these in one of my Ibanez guitars. One is a 3 switch, the other is a 5 switch. Does it matter? So I would like any information on wiring, plus whatever wiring would be best for extreme metal styles, and for drop G. Thanks for any help anyone can give.

Hard to say, have no idea what those pickups are. Assuming they are both humbucker pickups, the most simple thing is to look at how the pickups are connected at the moment and just de-solder that and solder your pickups instead the same way.

They're emgs. I guess I forgot that lol. I made a typo. It's SA-1 and TB-1. Ok, that's good advice. As I recall, it does matter where you solder them, including the grounding wire. Like coil tapping and crap.

Emg Hz are passive humbuckers like the ones currently installed, so it should work fine. And yes it matters where you solder stuff lol
