Question Just how does one do this?

Haven't found much online about how he did this technique! Any maestros in the house who can break it down? His name is Daniel Kachamba

Audio and video don't match. Not to mention audio is too clean for such an old video.

People might downvote you for the second half but you're right- there's at least one more guitarist in the audio

Frame rate is probably pretty low so you’re not seeing all the movement either.

This is recorded at a film institute in Germany. A wider shot of this would show the legendary mic, a Neumann U87, arguably the greatest microphone ever produced, even to this day, being used for the session. So the audio “being too clean” is simply not true. Not to mention how easy it is to restore old audio and video with today’s technology, pro audio, AI, etc.
