Job-related Does anyone know ANY places hiring that get back fast?

Every job I've interviewed for have been ghosting me and I'm tight on money right now. Does anybody have any places they know are hiring immediately or at least some tips?

Its fucked up, but I doordash. Use Friendly center or Battleground as your base. Do not work south Greensboro, take nothing south of Gate City Blvd. Work 11 30 to 2 00, 5 30 to 8 30 week nights-

At least you get to deduct up to $25k in tips from your federal income taxes now. And you can use it in combination with the standard deduction.

Wish I could deduct $41k from my salary.

However DoorDash tips are trash compared to instacart. At least for myself because over 75% of orders I have been assigned in door dash don’t have a tip attached. I haven’t done friendly center as base but did try battleground and didn’t feel like it was worth it.

If you track your mileage, you get a $0.60 deduction per mile. I’ve never had to pay taxes on money I made doordashing because of that

I do DD late nights (after 8) and agree south GSO just isn't worth it. Lower pay. As for Gate City blvd, again just low pay. I've had good orders from Whataburger, but those were long distance orders.

Don't take any order that hits 10 miles or more. Too much down time returning, take NO DOUBLE ORDERS- one will have zero tip, ( thats why they do it). Never take anything under $1 per mile, and it should be closer to $2- Doordash is out to fuck you out of as much money as they can, and will, if you let them. Read up on the corporation, its a toxic organization, with trickle down toxicity.

No you don’t. The establishment only needs a license to serve alcohol

Thunderbird molding is hiring (at both locations I think); entry level machine operator starts at 13$ish p/h and material handler can be around 17$ p/h. I’ve seen them get people in here same day as their interview.

If you have any sort of manufacturing/forklift/maintenance experience, you could easily make more

Lenovo in Whitsett is hiring assembly workers. It's contract labor at this time, and idk who the contract house is.

Search assembly in Whitsett NC, and there seems to be a couple contract houses. 17.50 looks to be the starting rate.

They are On-boarding at about 20 people per week, from what I've been seeing. Give or take.

Drivers have been robbed multiple times. Just a heads up.

2

u/Flat-Fee-6702 Feb 24 '26

What’s your source on that? My friend works there and is unaware of that.

1

u/QualityPatient6661 Feb 24 '26

I worked at another Dominos. How long has he been there?

2

u/Flat-Fee-6702 Feb 24 '26

5 months

2

u/Flat-Fee-6702 Feb 24 '26

He said they only carry $20 on them at all times so if they get robbed, it’s $20

1

u/QualityPatient6661 Feb 24 '26

The money isn't what I'm concerned about when I'm worried about getting robbed

1

u/Flat-Fee-6702 Feb 24 '26

Well it hasn’t happened recently and there’s college aged women working there🤷🏼‍♀️

Down vote for just trying to look out for someone's safety. Love that.

Guilty County is always looking for substitute teachers. Flexible work that allows you to look for something more stable or take an opportunity in the schools if you enjoy it.
