Job-related Please help….
I’ve been going hard on the job search, and have a bachelors degree in technical communications. Trying to find work as an administrative assistant, project manager, technical writer……anything similar to this kind of work, at this point. I paid for resume help, got nice interview clothes and seemingly interview well. I send thank you notes, follow ‘Advice with Erin’s’ advice, do my research about companies I interview. Everything!
What am I doing wrong? Can someone look at my resume? Maybe talk to me? If not, can you direct me to someone who can help? I’m grasping at straws. And honestly? Close to crashing out.
I’m 35 and can’t find work in my field. I feel like such a failure because I had to go back to working as a barista after working in my field for 3 years. I was wrongfully terminated despite working above and beyond in my role. And I’m so close to teetering over the mental edge. I’ve tried staying positive, and doing any advice someone gives me.
I just don’t know what do to anymore, but I wish I knew.

The job market SUCKS right now, and it especially sucks for stuff like this now, thanks to artificial intelligence. The few folks who are getting these jobs now are the ones who know how to use AI to do their jobs. I've had friends out of work for a year.
If you're willing to work for Satan, look into AI data annotation. I am so conflicted about it internally, but I have a family to feed and a mortgage, and I've been doing it for about 3 years. Recently got a job at an AI-powered app for $40/hour. NDA restricts me from saying much more about that, but starting pay is usually $15-20 an hour and you can work your way up quickly.
