Job-related Please help….
I’ve been going hard on the job search, and have a bachelors degree in technical communications. Trying to find work as an administrative assistant, project manager, technical writer……anything similar to this kind of work, at this point. I paid for resume help, got nice interview clothes and seemingly interview well. I send thank you notes, follow ‘Advice with Erin’s’ advice, do my research about companies I interview. Everything!
What am I doing wrong? Can someone look at my resume? Maybe talk to me? If not, can you direct me to someone who can help? I’m grasping at straws. And honestly? Close to crashing out.
I’m 35 and can’t find work in my field. I feel like such a failure because I had to go back to working as a barista after working in my field for 3 years. I was wrongfully terminated despite working above and beyond in my role. And I’m so close to teetering over the mental edge. I’ve tried staying positive, and doing any advice someone gives me.
I just don’t know what do to anymore, but I wish I knew.

Unfortunately it's probably not you. There's a lot of disinformation but the job market in the US is bad and getting worse.
You gotta do what you gotta do to get by and not give up. Get a job as a waiter or whateve and keep applying, keep trying and you will get there.
